    Great price value! Really nice staff and amazing view from the hostel and the restaurant. The food prices are more than fair and very yummy daily specials. It’s a small hostel, so it is easy to meet other travellers in the main hangout area. The hostel is owned by locals. I can definitely recommend this place :)

    What a gem this place is! My fav kind of hangout. Quiet, unspoiled, authentic, local. Home to the most beautiful beach around (Playa Amarillo). The Hostel is sitting on the cliff between the two beaches with uninterrupted  meditative views of the El Pacifico. Run by the master of relaxation and good vibes and culinary star William from the Corn island (Caribbean Nicaragua). Expect chilled reagge vibes, surf chats, very strong nica libre and mouthwatering food. Not to be missed.

    Everything! Best hostel we’ve stayed at yet, 10/10 for location, the views are incredible. 10/10 for staff and atomasphere, everyone is so friendly and the vibe is so relaxing and chilled. They also had some great surf boards to rent and without a doubt one of the best fish curries I’ve ever had, the food is amazing and reasonably priced. We loved it here and miss it already. Thank you Monkey House for a great week.

    The Monkey House is the best hostel in Nicaragua. It has the best view looking over Playa Amarillo and you can walk to Playa Colorado or Pangas if you are looking to surf. William is a wonderful host and curry + pork nights are a must for food. It is very clean, well maintained and the staff is super friendly. There are boards to rent and a separate kitchen for guests to cook in. My highest recommendation

    Its a great place to stay in if you want a chill vibe! the place is really well located and the view could not be better. Food is really nice as well! best curry i have had in my life was at this hostel !!

    This is my best stay in Nicaragua so far. The view is amazing, the staff and owners are super chill and nice, the hostel is clean and the food is delicious. I was suppose to stay there only one night but ended up staying the week. I would really recommand if you like to meet people, small towns, chill and surf.

    Amazing view. The staff is super nice and attentive; they sometimes cook really good dinners at the hostel creating a really cool family vibe. You can rent surfboards for a fair price.
