Super fun, lively hostel with a great staff. Ideal location in town. Great activities (beer pong night was my fave and led to a bunch of us going out after). Front desk staff was helpful with planning tours and travel. Good free breakfast + welcome drinks at the bar. Nice little rooftop terrace. Rooms were solid. Great wifi.

Each bed had their own fan which was nice and very needed as it gets hot there. The owner was really nice and you could book all their tours through there. They also have a walking tour which was very nice. It was also quite a social hostel, with lots of places to sit. It was very close to everything but located in a quiet street. Each bed had a very small drawer that you could lock and also had their own socket.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Big hostel, with a lot of space to hang. Friendly staff. Nice pool. Three free drinks every night. Free breakfast - was rather small though. Pool is cool in the heat. Nice rooftop with a beautiful view over the city and sunset. Everything easy walkable from the hostel. Cheap shuttle to laguna apoyo (hostel paradiso)

The hostel looks amazing, the location is great and it has a pool and kitchen in which you can prepare your own food. There are many other backpackers and a big common area to socialize.

Fun hostel catering mainly to the backpacker and party crowd. Nice staff and a great location a few blocks from the main square. I loved the terrace with great views of the city and a nice cool breeze at night to escape the city heat. I love that they offer tours and shuttles to touristic locations. I did the laguna de apoyo shuttle and I thought it was a good price and definitely worth it. I also got a shuttle to my next destination which saved me from taking public transportation which would have taken a lot longer.

The hostel has everything a backpacker needs and more - hair straighteners! Wow! They go the extra mile to provide all. Good kitchen, plenty of activities, great advice on tours and travel (and cheapest methods). The courtyards are very pleasant too.
