The hotel is really nice, clean and hip. The food is good and the prices okay compared to other hotels in the surrounding. Staff was very nice ane helpful. The poolparty was cool too!

Owners are amazingly nice and helpful, the kitchen is well equipped, bedroom is modern and comfy, the hotel is so close to the beach, i liked the rooftop hammock space, everything was perfect !

We booked with Hostal Villas Mexico because it was budget friendly and close to Maderas. At first we felt a little out of place because no one spoke a lick on English and there were no other English speaking travellers there either, but as we were exploring the place a couple of ladies who work there introduced them selves and took the time to show us around and patiently dealt with our bad Spanish as we tried to communicate how appreciative we were that they were showing us the beautiful land. Apart from the free breakfast and coffee they had already made us, they also made us the most delicious fried fish rice and chips for lunch, and invited us for dinner! They were so accommodating lovely and sweet! I sadly can’t remember all their names…. Maria, Janet? I think haha And…. Gosh I don’t remember but three main ladies seem to run the joint and they are awesome! We joked around, got hugs, and it ended up being a very lovely stay. Cabana #2 was sooo clean, had a mini fridge, air conditioning, super comfy bed, tv with cable with lots of movies you can swap to English, Clean ensuite that provided plenty of TP, clean towels soap and shampoo. We Felt super safe and secure, as there is security at the front gate, and again breakfast, coffee and packed lunch included (though we had ours there) it was great! Very quiet and chill and surrounded by lots of trees and plants and they are adding more diversity and plants all around, can’t wait to revisit in 10 years to see how it looks! Super super close to marsella and 5 minute Moto ride to Maderas.

In general: I completely don’t understand the low rate of this hostel and from my point of view seen the price/quality ratio it deserves a way higher grade than it has now. -Comfortable bed with curtains + socket + big lockers -Ensuite bathroom in the dorm with toilet & shower (coldish, but was ok in the hot climate over there) -More toilets downstairs in the hostel -WiFi worked well (also in the dorm) -Lots of places to sit/hang out -Bus stop, restaurants, shops, ATM and beach all very nearby -I could pay with creditcard without extra charge -Free drinking water -Even breakfast included in the price -Friendly and helpful staff -They were renovating the place when I stayed there, so I’ll guess it will only be better when they’re done!

Staff was kind, breakfast was delicious, the dorm is so nice with tons of fresh air and a balcony perfect for your yoga practice 😜 and it’s full of hammocks fo just chill ! I stayed longer cuz I was sleeping so well !

This hostel is a hidden gem in paradise. As soon as I got here I felt immediately relaxed. You feel in touch with nature. The room is very cozy as well and not too hot at night. Also, it’s really close to playa maderas.
