A lovely hostel in a beautiful area, staff were wonderful and very helpful, my room was very comfortable and a good breakfast each morning of my stay. Beautiful garden. Will be back!
Cool hostel to stay over for a few days when you want to do a hike with friendly staff. In the hostel we met a lot of fun people who were on the same journey as us. Besides hiking we also went to see the condors and the hostel managers/owners Leandro and Ludwig even took us on a special trip with the locals to experience their annual celebration. We enjoyed it a lot!
After a 5-hour hike from Cabanaconde (recommended to start at Homestay Pachamama!) we arrived at the lodge in Llahuar. The stay has several tiny lodges and 3 hotspring which are very nice after a day of hiking. In the evening, you have the opportunity to order some food at their place for a good price.
If you're searching for a place to stay in Cabanaconde, you can stop looking. Homestay Pachamama is the place to go. The hosts are super friendly and will make you feel right at home. Home is also how the atmosphere in the restaurant feels, like dining with your family. You can chat with the other guests and hikers whilst enjoying the good food. The rooms are cousy,, the beds are comfy and the shower is hot. And also the friendly pets are a nice bonus:)
Great little paradise with a beautiful garden, great host and food. The hotsprings were very welcoming after a long hike down. Hammocks and great relaxchairs in the garden with a nice view

Ludwig’s beautiful home stay is a wonderful, friendly, clean place to stay to enjoy before the Cola Canyon and to just experience a smaller village experience.
This is really wonderful place with great hosts. Rooms are very clean, food is nice and local. Highly recommended experience of true Peru.
Lovely host and great hospitality. Arranged transport from Arequipa and to the Condors which was great. Food delicious, gorgeous garden setting with hummingbirds. Highly recommended.
