We took a local taxi to the port as there was no Uber and the boat ride which is amazing was about 20 min. For an additional cost we opted for an amazing dinner brought to our room. Our fav was the bed which was the comfiest in all of Peru with a king size mattress. Sunset views are spectacular and the serene calm of the lake was an experience. Lucrecia and her daughter welcomed us warmly, we became part of the family for 24h. If you go to Amantani you should definitely stay at Richar’s. The house is beautiful, very closed to Occosuyo port. The rooms are comfy, colorful and our’s had a super view over the lake. Amantani is an island out of time. Lucrecia cooked for us nicely and Isabel played with us cards during the evening. Wish we could have stayed more days!

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. This was the best stay we had in all of our travels in Peru. José Luis met us at the dock, and walked us up to the property. At the time of this writing it is late January, and there was an abundance flowers in bloom. The property was gorgeous, and our spacious room over looked Lake Titicaca. The bed was comfortable, and the huge bathroom was spotless! The family was warm, and very easy to love! Pilar is an excellent cook! There was a separate dinning room for guests, but we preferred to eat in the family kitchen as it was so cozy. My boyfriend got the experience of harvesting potatoes, and we escorted José’s mother to get hay for the sheep. If you get to meet Fernanda you will love her. She is an absolute delight! If we could give our stay 100 stars we would!!! We will be back!

With pool views, Uros Lodge Lover Titiqaqa is located in Puno and has a restaurant, free shuttle service, bar and garden. The property has river and garden views, and is 4.6 km from Estadio Enrique Torres Belon. The homestay features family rooms. Love our stay!!! It was very peaceful and quiet. The owner is very helpful and can arrange everything for us!!One of the most hard working guys I have seen!!! The breakfast is very good and his cooking is great! We love our chifas that he cooked!! It's a great way to see how the local people live. He also offers tours. Excellent stay and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Located in Puno, near Puno Port, Bahia de los Incas Boardwalk and Pino Park, Maya Inn has a terrace. It is set 200 metres from Estadio Enrique Torres Belon and offers a 24-hour front desk. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. I was warmly greeted on arrival by the kind lady at reception and shown to my room. The room was much larger than expected, very clean and really good value for money. I had an early boat trip booked for the next morning and they offered to prepare breakfast earlier for me. It’s the little things like this that really go along way when you are travelling. The property is a short walk away from the lake and the main square so perfect location to see/do everything you need to while in Puno.
