Very friendly host. Let us store luggage before checkin date, gave us information and a map, gave tea spontaneously and very helpfull all around. Room was extremely clean, and bathroom was very spacious.

A brand new hotel with superb views over the Colca Canyon. The restaurant overlooking the valley and mountains beyond is very good, with the alpaca dishes being particularly tasty. There was a better than average selection for breakfast, and service was attentive but not intrusive. The barman (whose name I didn't catch, sadly) mixes a very decent Pisco Sour. There is parking to the rear of the building. The staff (particularly Gaudi the receptionist/concierge) were friendly and genuinely seemed to want us to have a great time. Apparently there is a also sauna, but we didn't use it. The room was very comfortable, with an open (gas) fire and spa bath,. The kettle was a welcome addition.

The furnitures are very new. I love the quality of towels. The room has a balcony too and I really enjoyed the sunset there. The grandparents running the hotel are the warmest people. I was quite upset at a tour agency upon arrival. They kept checking on me when I’m downstairs to make sure I’m ok. And they told the guide to look after me. It’s so nice to have people like this when travelling overseas.

Sonqo Killa del Colca is set in Chivay, within 3.8 km of La Calera Hot Spring and 3.8 km of Colca Archaeological Natural Museum. Not only the room was comfortable and inexpensive, but the gentleman at front desk was very caring and helpful. Prior evening I asked him if there were any stores near by that sold fruits. He said they would be closed at that hour. Next day morning, the breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30 and I had a tour that was to pick me up at 6:30. So I was going to skip the breakfast. But he prepared a fruit plate for me and knocked my door at 6:15 for breakfast.

Big clean rooms, clean bathroom. Breakfast served every morning. Great location for our stay near the Colca Canyon.

A friend of our group had an incident with his room in our last day, management resolved it quickly and we had a great stay and experience in Colca.

Tucked away in the impressive Colca Valley, this rustic-style inn features thermal baths, one of them being covered, the others being opened, all of them, nestled in a majestic landscape with a view... Excellent hotel with different pools of thermal waters and a good restaurant. The landscape is amazing, as the hotel is located within the canyon and just next to the river. Stuff was helpful and friendly. Would stay again

Casa Andina Standard Colca lies in Chivay at the edge of the Colca Valley. This secluded hotel features traditional stone houses. We liked everything about our stay. The hotel is very nice, the bedrooms are comfortable and the staff are the best. Noeli at reception and Arleth at the restaurant were amazing. The fact there’s heating in the bedrooms is also a big plus.
