oh wow. I fell in love with Dumaguete.
oh wow. I fell in love with Dumaguete. It is a bustling city indeed, to my surprise and still have the provincial charm or the small town charm that will make your stay worthwhile, I have enjoyed my walking around the city and the spots on next town, Valencia. I am for sure be coming back to cheack out some more places I miss to visit.

It would be nice to have stanchion signs at the entrance of the hallways asking people to be quiet as they go down the hallway so others sleeping will not be disturbed. Also, if the guard on duty hears hallway noise, they should try to correct the situation.

A traffic light/stop sign would be amazing in Dumaguete. It's a busy place and when driving you have to have your head on a swivel. Head over to Lee's Market, where you can shop forever. The plaza on the water is amazing at night...Sunday nights are off the hook...food stands, music, karate competition...bustling with positive energy.
If you want the finest fish in the world, head over to the wet market, where you can score pretty much anything you need to satisfy your seafood needs.
Other than that? Dumaguete should only be visited if you have business.
The Room was clean, comfortable and well equipped, good shower. Quiet and away from the noise of the city centre. Good quality-price.
Easy to move around as we had a bike, otherwise it was also easy to get a tricycle from the main road.
The staff offered transfer service to the pier, which was convenient for us (with an extra fee).
We really enjoyed our stay at Nikkos Place. It was welcoming, very clean and cosy. Nicely prepared upon arrival. Nikko was always helpful when we had questions or needed a good tip for activities. Place is well located within the city, just a few minutes walk from centrum. Perfect for exploring Dumaguete and its surroundings!
Clean nice room w good bed and TV and AC and wifi is very good..location is OK nice and near the baywalk area w restaurants. Hot shower is ok too ..there is a generator ready in case of no electricity as I was there during typhoon...The staff are kind people and hospitable. Price is so reasonable.
I loved everything about Hotel Dumaguete. The shower was hot! The cable/internet was available and on point. Netflix and YouTube ready on the television. Beds comfy and water refills free. Quiet street and the Italian restaurant behind the hotel is to die for!
This place didn't pretend to be anything it's not. It was a clean friendly and comfortable hotel with a great bar and restaurant. The staff were really helpful and made us feel right at home. I would stay here again if I was in transit in Dumaguete. Loved it!
It is great value for money and well kept nicely decorated and for the price is nothing to compare. It’s well situated in easy walking distance of the main Boulevard and the city center.
The staff were very accommodating and they also handled very well my last minute upgrade. for travelers and wanted to be near the city this is a nice lodging house to recommend.
