Great location in a quiet area (apart from the occasional plane) with a few decent restaurants nearby and always tuktuks around for visiting other places.
Amazing and cheap bakery downstairs, and they refilled our 6l bottle of water when needed. They also sorted out our laundry even though they don't offer it usually. Wifi was very good. We extended our stay.

While it’s not close to the main tourist areas, it’s close to a hostel that has heaps going on, a beach with a great sunset, convenient stalls and a couple of eateries. Panglao has everything to offer - ease of access just 15 minutes from airport and you are on Alona beach. You have several beaches to choose from if quiet is what you need and be away from the action of Alona. There are also so many nature/adventure / cultural and historical tours to choose from that is a day tour away. Tricycles and private cars/vans are readily available. Lots of great food choices as well. Go for freshly grilled seafood!!

We arrived at Panglao airport and looked for a tricycle to take us to our hotel. Our driver offered to take us on tours with his tricycle so we made arrangements with him. Day 1: country side tour (loboc river cruise, chocolate hills, tarsiers, butterfly garden). Day 2: he connected us with a group to go island hopping with (dolfin watching, snorkeling, virgin island). Day 3: Panglao island tour (we only chose to go to two places - the cave and the bee farm). We noticed that not a lot of people went round to these tourist spots using tricycles like we did; almost everyone went with vans. We just opted for the tricycle because it was cheaper, and not being a group meant we had more freedom to decide how much time we wanted to spend at each place.

Panglao is very nice, your camera will love it here!! I will be going back. If you like to dive, this is paradise. there is also, sandy beaches, boating, jet skiing, parasailing, skin diving... all the sea sports are here. Great Trip!

We were now in Panglao second time after visit in 2016.
We were now in Panglao second time after visit in 2016. So much has changed - lots of new developments, restaurants, resorts... but one positive thing remained - friendly people. Smiles are everywhere🙂. Now when the international airport is open, the access to Panglao is easy. There are so many hotels and resorts to stay (ours favorite is Island World resort) and so many restorants for dining on the beach. Just a paradise.

All restaurants and coffee shops we used were wonderful, sophisticated and reasonable. This includes Tip-top, Giuseppe, Nonki, Max Cow, Overgrown, and Thai food.
Nightlife on the Alona Beach is fun but not abundant.
Alona Beach was crowded with Korean people, probably because there’s a direct flight from Korea to panglao. There are other beautiful beaches too such as Dumaluan
I stayed at Bird of Paradise Bohol Resort for one night and it was amazing! The place is so pretty with cool Filipino designs, a beautiful garden, and a nice pool. The room was super comfortable and had a great view. Included breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, eggs and bread. The resort is near Alona beach where you can do fun water activities like snorkeling and scuba diving with turtles and colorful reefs. The staff was really nice and helpful with everything we needed. Overall, it was a great place to chill and enjoy Bohol!
It was absolutely AMAZING. We extended for two, three more nights simply because it was so lovely. The shared room had AC, and was a decent size, and the bathroom was in great condition. Most importantly, it was the people here that made it so incredible! Mitch, took such good care of us, even when one of us became sick, other than that, she gave us some great recs of whats good around bohol. Her staff were also super accomodating and lovely. I feel like Intoys place became like a second home to me x Would come back to here for sure

Friendly staff, large and clean rooms equipped with everything you need: powerful air conditioning, medium-sized refrigerator, good restaurant. Access to the hotel and from the hotel to other tourist spots on the island is recommended to be done by tricycle. At the reception, the staff will help you order such a means of transport. The strong point is the large courtyard of the hotel, arranged with great care, being magically illuminated in the evening.
Bohol Beach Club is one of the most beautiful places in the world. The hotel sits on a beautiful private beach and the staff is very accommodating. We received beachside service, as well as enjoyed the most amazing massages right on the beach in individual huts. They also have a very large pool and a restaurant right on the resort. To top off our amazing stay, the resort delivered cookies each evening with a sweet goodnight message.
We really enjoyed our little hut. The room was spacious and clean and provided everything we needed. The staff was just incredible. Great personalities, friendly, and helpful. The barception made this stay all that much better with great craft beer and delicious food. This bar/restaurant is also a favorite for the locals, so it was a lot of fun to wind down there in the evenings. Thanks so much for such a fun time in Bohol!
Nautilus is my favourite hostel I have ever stayed in! The owners and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The hostel itself is beautiful with the garden and decorated so nicely. The showers are amazing (with hot water!) and the breakfast served daily cooked by Karolina is also delicious. Sleeping in a hammock was also very surprisingly pleasant! I am recommending to everyone that I meet who is going to Bohol/Panglao 😀
The hotel is well located for sailing activities. I live in a thatched villa with a unique style and nice environment. But the interior is relatively old and the pool is too small. There are no equivalent amenities for the expensive rooms, little seafood for breakfast and dinner, and limited selection. Probably the best hotel in Bohol, but not as good as in Thailand or Bali.
The location is nice. We can relax after a long day of exploring Bohol because the place is quiet. It's the best place for us since we did not go to Bohol for swimming. The room, their beddings and towels are clean. You have a free drinking water and you can cook, there is an electric kettle, TV, refrigerator and the rooms has air conditioners.
Me and my boyfriend was supposed to just stay a couple nights in Bohol but because of this place we ended up staying almost one week! This was of the most cozy places we’ve stayed at in Philippines. Clean and comfortable rooms with a good brekfast included in the price. The area is very cozy and the staff was amazing! We will go back for sure!

the hotel is a bit far from the famous alona beach and entertainment but quiet and you can get there easily by scooter or tuck tuck.
Breakfast are verry good
On top of the mountain with the view of the Tagbilaran strait which separates Tagbilaran and Panglao Island while having your own big balcony with a couple of swings. Very relaxing. A great location to be away. The view is their main selling point.
if i were to go back in bohol, i would definitely stay in this villa again.. this is really highly recommended specially if you are travelling w/ your family. The homey ambiance, plus the staff are really accomodating.
