The taxi lane and calm access to the lobby is nice. The noise from the pool or the Aqwa discotheque is not an issue in the room. The AC is modern and works great, but is set to max speed and do a little bit of noise.

The location is away form main busy roads, making it a quiet place to stay and relax. Their receptionist and managers were very hospitable and open to requests, and I admire them for this. I am grateful for the complimentary breakfast and the wide array of choices, although I'm not too sure if this was applicable to everyone who booked any type of room (just double check). Thank you, Cebu R Hotel Mabolo.

Cebu city has a lot to offer, a great place for tourists and balikbayans. Enjoy shopping, eating at great restaurants, very friendly and helpful people all around. It's great access to anywhere in the city, to the beach, shopping, restaurants n night places. I just hate the traffic and very disorderly streets. But I grew up here and will always be the best place in the Philippines.

Cebu City is a growing tourist destination with expanding infrastructure, including casinos, an ocean park, and a zoo with exotic animals. The shopping malls offer a wide variety of local and Asian shopping experiences, as well as a large selection of local and international restaurants. The locals are friendly, and the island is safe and peaceful with fantastic beaches. The natural beauty of the island is breathtaking, with stunning landscapes and crystal-clear waters. Some of the must-visit beaches include Bounty Beach on Malapascua Island, Tingko Beach in Alcoy, and Sta. Fe Beach on Bantayan Island. I enjoyed both local cuisine and other Asian dishes. To get around the island, I hired a dedicated driver who took me to various places. However, I was saddened to see the poverty, tenements, and polluted waters near these homes.

Truly, Cebu City never fails to amaze us, for my wife and I enjoyed our more than a long week summer vacation and the neighbouring city of Lapu-lapu in Mactan Island is exquisitely great and undeniably fantastic, indeed.

Typical contrast experience in a third world country city.
Typical contrast experience in a third world country city. Poverty and dilapidated conditions, pollution and widespread ignorance. On the other side the servile anonymous crowd that more or less tries to take advantage of you, rip you off... The traffic can be suffocating. Quite a few elderly men with their tiny local escorts... Locals consider Cebu as the source of prostitution in the area. To move through Cebu on the way to some nice place outside the city due its airport hub is ok, to stay there in my opinion is definitely not worth it. If you have kids you might consider visiting Ocean Park with its aquarium, nice, but no comparison to the Singapore one. - Another `good´ example for the slogan from the Philippine tourist board, "Its more fun in the Philippines".

can be a bit noisy , but that is typical of PHP.
can be a bit noisy , but that is typical of PHP. Just be careful when crossing the streets, and keep an eye out for traffic. Taxi cabs are readily available at all hours and the metered cabs are a good way to get around. The drivers are very good at what they do.

We arrived of a late flight and when we got to to the hostel the gentleman on reception was very helpful and friendly . The room was beautiful and clean, very comfortable bed, good AC & WiFi and Netflix on the telly and a lovely hot shower which is rare in the Philippines. Breakfast included was great. Would highly recommend for a short stay in Cebu close to the airport & port so perfect for a stopover in Cebu city
The room was definitely worth the price, had everything we needed. It's one of the taller hotels and it had a really nice view over Cebu city. (You can also take the elevator to the top-most floor, if your room happens to be on one of the lower floors.)
The hotel has also a swimming pool and a gym on 9th floor accessible to all guests.
The hotel location is near Ayala Mall Cebu. The hotel price is affordable and the room is comfortable. The room is small, but if you're just gonna rest, it is enough. The bathroom is clean with functional hot water.
It is located in the heart of Cebu City, close to the main sights, the bus station and the shopping street. The room was small, but clean, the rooftop pool had nice views.
