Staff very friendly , beds were superb, Breakfast Buffet was excellent, plenty of choice , Bar open to 12.30am , free parking was a huge bonus ! Location was ideal, albeit set off a main road , sleeping in their comfy beds was no bother, very handy for travelling around by car or park the car & take the bus 192 outside petrol station will take you to Mersey Square , main shopping area for Stockport. Good selection of shops/ places to eat. If you fancy a wash & blow dry , I recommend Majestic hair salon , go passed McDonalds , turn right , it is on the right next to Barbers, ring to make a booking on 07837551112
You can also take 192 to Manchester Piccadilly about 30mins . 199 bus from Bus stop outside hotel we take you to Buxton , where you can see where Buxton bottled water comes from. Last but not least Room No 1 was brilliant just at the top of the stairs. Enjoy your stay we did !

The location was outstanding. It could not be bettered. Walks from the Inn were spectacular and one felt very close to nature. The Inn itself has managed to keep some "old world charm" while providing modern up to date facilities and a very helpful and kind staff.
The food was good gastro pub standard and the local produce was very much appreciated.
Set in Highpeak Junction, 14 km from Buxton Opera House, The Swan Inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

The staff are fantastic, the pub is really great (the ales are perfect), and the curry house on the middle floor is excellent too. Whether you want to spend time in Glossop, or walk in the hills, the location is ideal. The cooked breakfast is made to order and really tasty.

It’s a really lovely comfortable pub beautifully decorated in a really lovely nice quiet location.
Great place. Modern room with good facilities/ shower/decor etc. Friendly helpful staff and good choice of food with excellent breakfast. Big beer garden and amazing views. Would definitely recommend.
