Such a great spot to spend a weekend. The Ark had everything we needed all of which was high standard. The lazy continental breakfast provided by Steph sitting on the pontoon watching the birds and boats was a particular highlight. A great spot to walk from too !

A great location for us. Close to Goodwood where we attended the Revival and very characterful, quiet and rural. The Shepherds hut was cosy and comfortable and bathroom facilities, which we are very short walk away, clean and functional. The host was generous allowing us to use the private laundry facilities for access to mains electricity to get ready for the Revival.

Good location for Goodwood Revival.Unfortunately the weather was not good which made everywhere very muddy especially the lane into the accommodation.

There was a good choice of places to eat for an Evening meal. I chose JJ`s & was very happy with my choice. It seems very popular & had a `buzz` about it. I walked from my B&B for about 15mins to the centre of Emsworth.
Friends met me on day 2 & they chose Driftwood Cafe to have a catch-up & a coffee in. That to was very popular & we were well taken care of. I admired a number of paintings on the walls by a local artist.
Also a little shop `Karen George` caught my eye as there was a lovely jumpsuit in the side window & a nice Summer dress in the front window. However, I tried on a trendy green Robell jacket that complimented a jumpsuit I was wearing & that would go with a number of other outfits.
All in all a lovely stay in the area.

Nice village , strolled around the harbour and village which was pleasant . Lots of options for eating and all seemed to be busy . I would stay in the same B and B and visit the village again and also use it for a base to visit further afield.

We enjoyed the splendour of a country house with excellent personal service for the owners who made us extremely welcome. It made a very pleasant change from the impersonal service of a hotel.
Food was local where possible and we were served with a lovely breakfast and possibly the best scrambled eggs we have eaten in a very long time!
Portsmouth isn't far away so plenty to see and do in the area.
Would love to return.

A picturesque small town, epitomised by its pretty harbour area that provides excellent walks. The town itself is historic and quaint, and contains some individual shops that are good to use. There are several places to eat lunchtimes and evenings, including a number of pubs and a highly regarded Italian restaurant. Two of the pubs, close to the waterside, can get quite crowded at popular times, but they serve good food and do a good job. Like everywhere else, ‘cost of living’ price increases are noticeable, but Emsworth (being in an affluent area) is the sort of place that can sustain this.
Peaceful location, spotless rooms looking over paddocks with Alpacas, goats , chickens, horses & ducks.
Fantastic breakfast sourced locally. Cooked to perfection. Best Full English we have had much better than many 4 * hotels we have stayed in.
Excellent host.
Visited Fishbourne Roman Palace. Weald & Downland living museum ( The Repair shop) Emsworth and Bosham for walks.
Booked due to such good reviews and we were not disappointed would highly recommend The Old Dairy..
A lovely bed & breakfast hotel. Pleasant room. Peaceful & relaxing. Ideally located for visiting the local area of Emsworth & Chichester and a short drive from Goodwood & Portsmouth. Lovely breakfast, friendly staff & onside parking. They also have an onsite spa and plenty of free parking. Sonya on reception was lovely & welcoming on arrival. Highly recommended.
This is a lovely and well appointed house in a quiet cul de sac. It has lots of kitchen equipment and plenty of furniture. Parking is easy on this quiet street. It is close to the center of the town of Emsworth. Nice garden and overall very well kept.
Great location in Emsworth. Themed room(Renaisance). Beautifully decorated, bed was very comfortable. The fan was very welcome if a little noisy. Nice big bathroom. Ate at Jjs house adjoining kip23, very good food and atmosphere.
Would recommend.
