Where do I start!
Where do I start! The room was beautiful and excellent value for money. The views and location truly amazing! I have stayed here before but only seem to be able to manage night at a time as I am always travelling. Would love to spend a week here!
If you have the time and it is running take the boat and go seal watching!

Comprehensive shopping and eateries - we found the people really lovely, chatty and happy to help. So much history, lots to see. You must visit Luckes - independent, fabulous food, lovely staff. The Real Eating company - really good coffee, lovely staff. Our first experience was a bit unfortunate but the manager and staff were quick to respond and rectify that - highly recommend them - they have two venues in Chichester.

Our first visit to Chichester, to meet up with relatives who live locally, we had limited time to explore the town. We wandered around, walked on the old city walls, visited an interesting museum with a temporary display of Star Wars toys and of course visited the Cathedral. Chichester has largely retained the old type of 'proper' town centre with individual local shops in addition to the larger chains which makes it more interesting to walk around.

The city centre is very compact with the main shopping areas, bars and restaurants close to the cathedral and within the city walls.
Would recommend the 2.2 mile walk around the old city walls from where you can stop off and enjoy Priory Park and The Bishops Garden.
Pleanty of cafes, pubs, bars and restaurants to choose from. Would recommend The Barn in Little London which is great for coffee and delicious pastries and the food and cocktails at Purchases were fantastic. Lemongrass Thai restaurant in St Pancras was also very good.
An informative and enjoyable guided walk can be booked from the Novium Museum.

We planned to go to the Pallant Museum and really enjoyed the exhibition which we had booked to see as well as other items on display. The stunning buildings there were Georgian and modern and the coffee shop was lovely. The restaurant looked great although we did not eat there. The cathedral was very interesting and an ancient building with arresting 20th century artworks. The Palace gardens next to the cathedral incorporate some of the old city walls and are peaceful and beautifully planted. The Roman Palace at Fishbourne was easily accessible by bus or train and has an amazing set of finds and mosaic floors. We ate at Cote Brasserie which had lovely food in a low key but smart building.

Location is close to lots of interesting places to visit.
Location is close to lots of interesting places to visit. Plenty of places to eat and drinks, Every thing for everyone what ever their needs. Lots of local history to view in an around Chichester what ever you want to see or do. Romans villas, coastal routes all nearby,
Have stayed in this hotel numerous times, and it’s always good value. The rooms are spacious and always spotless, with crisp white bedding. The bathrooms are a little dated, but of good size, and there is plenty of space on the vanity unit for razor, deodorants, etc, unlike a lot of other hotels we have stayed in. There is a pool and gym. The hotel also offers room service. The hotel is located in a great spot for getting out and about West Sussex. The staff are always helpful.
Pretty much everything was excellent.
The meal in the restaurant in the evening was very good. Breakfast had a very wide selection of fare, hot and cold.
The location is excellent for exploring the Chichester and surrounding area.
There was no problem with parking.
The gym was very well supplied with machines and weights. The swimming pool with sauna and jacuzzi was very relaxing. Both these facilities had their busy periods.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Down visiting friends who live down the road and had stayed at local hotels in the past but being a Friday wanted somewhere just for the one night - this ticked all the boxes and will absolutely be our first port of call next trip down. Car charger on the drive. Jane was wonderful - super friendly, room had everything we needed and was beautifully done - and a great breakfast delivered to the door. See you again soon!
The owners were so lovely!!! I am so surprised that this is only a 2-star hotel but to me the service was impeccable, the rooms were so clean and well maintained. It’s the perfect size for a couple. The only thing I would say is to improve the pillows, it was too hard to sleep on but apart from that, the whole place was perfect for our overnight stay in Chichester. I will definitely be back soon 🖤🍃
Lots of nice little touches - toiletries, washing up liquid and cloths, books, blankets, dog accessories, tea, coffee…..plus the use of full size appliances. Everything was nice and clean and our dog enjoyed the garden outside. Nice walk to the harbour directly from the garden. Very comfy beds and beautiful bathrooms. Close to Chichester town centre by car - can park directly outside the cottage.
An incredible location in a quaint little town. It is right on the street with the shops, restaurants and pub. It is a short walk to the excellent Chichester Festival Theatre. Priority Park, the Wall Walk and the Cathedral are must visits. A decent continental breakfast is included. I had a burger and fries for lunch.
The fan in the room was powerful.
We loved staying at Purchases from the minute we walked in the door, restaurant staff met us and showed us to the room. The room was lovely and the bed comfortable. You couldn’t beat the location.
The bathroom was the largest we had of all the hotels we stayed in during our first trip back to the UK in 3 years.
Crouchers advised in advance that their main restaurant facility was booked for a function the night of our stay, and helped me book an alternative place for dinner. Really nice un-hotel layout, more like lodges. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were really friendly and helpful.
The lovely apartment is right in the centre of Chichester with spacious comfy bedrooms and a large sitting/dining room. The large bedroom has a wonderful vaulted ceiling and views of the cathedral spire. Everything was as needed - well equipped kitchen, iron, hairdryer, etc.
Had a really lovely stay here. Staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful, made me feel very welcome. Very comfortable room, amazing shower! Breakfast was great. The pub is in a perfect location close to all the attractions of Chichester. Excellent value for money.
This is a very friendly well run hotel with excellent customer service. The location is great for Chichester, the south coast, and Goodwood events. There is ample parking and EV charging. Food and drink are first class and service generally is brilliant.
Ideal location, easy walking distance from the town centre and the station. Great to have a studio apartment as an alternative to staying in a hotel. Instructions for the coffee machine would be helpful for anyone who doesn't usually use one.
I was very happy with our stay at the East Walls Hotel. The location was fantastic, the hotel was beautiful, the owners were absolute dears, and the breakfast was great. 100% would book again.
The room was nice and clean, everything worked fine, no problems. There is a small gym and pool which was a bonus. Very close to the main roads in and out of Chichester and the water park.
