Such a great spot to spend a weekend. The Ark had everything we needed all of which was high standard. The lazy continental breakfast provided by Steph sitting on the pontoon watching the birds and boats was a particular highlight. A great spot to walk from too !

Excellent breakfast, the staff were professional, curteous and very helpful.
They allowed a late checkout which made life much easier for me.
It is a stone throw from my workplace which is great. It is central as well.

A great location for us. Close to Goodwood where we attended the Revival and very characterful, quiet and rural. The Shepherds hut was cosy and comfortable and bathroom facilities, which we are very short walk away, clean and functional. The host was generous allowing us to use the private laundry facilities for access to mains electricity to get ready for the Revival.

Emsworth is a lovely town on the coast. Very unspoilt and with a nice selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants. Great location for walking along the beautiful coastline or a short drive to the South Downs Way. People are very friendly and it never seems too crowded.

There is a pretty walk around the harbour with seats overlooking the water. I particularly enjoyed looking at the architecture and would have preferred to access some sort of guide explaining its history and other interesting facts. Emsworth was very quiet when I visited in mid September despite the weather being warm. But we used it as a base to explore the really pretty inlets around

There was a good choice of places to eat for an Evening meal. I chose JJ`s & was very happy with my choice. It seems very popular & had a `buzz` about it. I walked from my B&B for about 15mins to the centre of Emsworth.
Friends met me on day 2 & they chose Driftwood Cafe to have a catch-up & a coffee in. That to was very popular & we were well taken care of. I admired a number of paintings on the walls by a local artist.
Also a little shop `Karen George` caught my eye as there was a lovely jumpsuit in the side window & a nice Summer dress in the front window. However, I tried on a trendy green Robell jacket that complimented a jumpsuit I was wearing & that would go with a number of other outfits.
All in all a lovely stay in the area.

Nice village , strolled around the harbour and village which was pleasant . Lots of options for eating and all seemed to be busy . I would stay in the same B and B and visit the village again and also use it for a base to visit further afield.

We enjoyed the splendour of a country house with excellent personal service for the owners who made us extremely welcome. It made a very pleasant change from the impersonal service of a hotel.
Food was local where possible and we were served with a lovely breakfast and possibly the best scrambled eggs we have eaten in a very long time!
Portsmouth isn't far away so plenty to see and do in the area.
Would love to return.

This was my second stay here.
The room was lovely, with a desk for my son to do his homework, and with a spot light. Very well done. The hotel has been completely re-decorated since my last stay 5 yrs ago (pre Covid)
Car parking was good, and for us, the hotel was within walking distance of my Aunts house, which was the main reason for visiting Emsworth.
Great location in Emsworth. Themed room(Renaisance). Beautifully decorated, bed was very comfortable. The fan was very welcome if a little noisy. Nice big bathroom. Ate at Jjs house adjoining kip23, very good food and atmosphere.
Would recommend.
The host at Millers house was helpful, courteous and fully explained what we needed to know during our stay in Emsworth, and we would definitely stay again and recommend Millers House if we should visit this area again. Thank you
