Many end at the racecourse, a few streets from Brighton Marina, Europe’s largest, housing several shops and eateries. Many Brighton guest houses on Booking.com are also nearby.
Running along the beachfront is the world’s oldest operating electric railway, ending by Brighton Pier. Lit up at night and also known as Palace Pier, this city icon houses amusements and rides, and is one place to pick up some famous Brighton Rock, the confectionery sharing its name with an edgy Graham Greene novel set here.
A new addition, the Brighton Wheel is right by the pier, while one of its most famous attractions is the Royal Pavilion, a former royal retreat built in Indian style.

Whats not to love about Brighton!
Just the perfect mix of shops, pubs, music, restaurants & nightlife coupled with a lovely seafront & esplanade.
The i360 is a must-do!
Something for everyone and soooo much bigger than I had realised.
We had 3 nights there and we will be back

Brighton is a delightful city, full of lovely architecture, great shopping, friendly people, and a variety of things to see and do. The bus service is cheap, easy, reliable and again, friendly! We only used it to go from the centre to Hove, but we always got a seat, and it works like the Tube - just tap your phone or card. I'd read reviews saying there were a lot of beggars and homeless folk, but saw very few. The prom is clean and tidy with a variety of little indy shops accessible from the lower prom.
We visited the Sealife Centre, the i360, and the Royal Pavilion (the latter two using a 'pass' ticket for both which reduced the price) all of which we highly recommend. We also spent time on the beach relaxing. We used delivery apps for food from takeaways, of which there are many. We also had fish & chips from Bankers on Western Road, which were very good.
We will definitely be visiting Brighton again.

Wonderful location, a beautiful and superclean hotel with very comfortable room and bed, good swimmingpool, amazing breakfast to be enjoyed overlooking the seafront and Brighton beach - unbeatable view. All staff very friendly, attentive and helpful. I like that you can ask frontdesk for showercaps, vanity kits etc rather than having a handful of little boxes of things you may never use cluttering the room or taking up unnecessary surface area in the bathroom. Very neat.
Breakfast not provided. I just needed somewhere of good value to stay whilst visiting Brighten due to my daughter being poorly in hospital. I was pleasantly surprised as the hotel was generally pleasing , the entrance and reception were quirky decorated with art nouveau pics, paraphernalia.
Room decorated in similar manner.
Room comfy, nice crisp/ clean bedding nice en-suite shower room. On whole room served my requirements & I would consider booking again
Hotel was lovely and the rooms was very spacious. Hotel directly on the seafront just a walk away from all the things to do. Hotel is situated 1 street away from a car park. The car park is the most affordable multi story parking in the area. Most car parks charging up to 40 pounds for 24 hours when this park was 27 for brighton this is cheap. Hotel was lovely and friendly staff. Breakfast was lovely as well and well organised.
The location is very close to the beach and walkable to The Lanes and Pavillion. Owner Jeremy was very responsive and helpful. He allowed us for a late check out and provided us with parking permits on short notice. It was a self check in and hassle free. They have kept a good amount of biscuits, tea, coffee, squash sticks, and water so that we can have a quick munch. There was even a mini fridge in the room.
This is how a hotel should be run! Faultless. Super friendly owners, lovely personal touches in the room, absolutely spotless, with crisp white linen on a plush comfy bed, you can see Red Brighton Blue genuinely cares. Along with a great location just a hop skip and jump to the beach, this has to be the best place i have stayed this year (ive spent most of 2022 in hotels). Keep it up 😀
Have stayed here before and will be back again! Fab location, best prices and great room, this time a huge old fashioned room with bay windows and armchairs with coffee table! The hotel is on the sea front and in the lanes, yet is one of the cheapest in the area. Also I can say the breakfast is the best on the seafront outside of the 5* Grand!
Lovely hotel, second visit here, close to the beach. Stylish and clean. Clear instructions for entry & parking. The king suite was my first stay with a balcony, which was lovely. As a solo traveller this time, it was still a lovely smaller room. Maybe next time I'll book the single with a sea view. Great location. My go to in Brighton.
Great location! Loved that it was only a five minute walk to the seafront, we went swimming at the beach every day! Also just a quick walk to the nearest bus stop (takes you to Brighton in 10 minutes). Lots of restaurants, bakeries, pubs and shops in the neighbourhood. Lovely host/owner who made sure we had everything we needed.
All about the good location. Near the beach and shops and restaurants and cafes. Can't ask more. The hotel room is small but enough for a short staying got everything you need and well prepared for the coming guests. we will definitely come back to Brighton to stay in this hotel again.
The hotel is in a great location, right by the beach and near all the Brighton sights. The staff here were fantastic and super friendly, room was clean and the bed super comfy and the shower was nice and powerful. Overall it was a great stay.
The hotel is in excellent location. You can step on the beach just after crossing the road. The single room was a good size, there was a kettle, a hairdryer, iron, ironing board and a fan. There was a nice selection of tea/coffee provided.
staff and hotel was as much as we had expected , very good facilities and location . Bar staff were very good . Room over looked the beach and was well presented. We would visit again. Parking right outside the hotel was a bonus
The room was very spacious and well designed, with a power outlet beside the makeup mirror. Comfortable bed, best hotel towels I've ever found, good water pressure in shower.
Room was near the lifts and on a frequently used corridor which was quite noisy. It wasn't unexptected - the cheapest hotel room in brighton on a friday night, after all.
The hotel location speaks for itself. Right on the beach and very easy to find. I also really like the price of the hotel also. For a night or two, I would stay again.
The Hotel is at the end of the Pier next to the beach - the dinning area with lounge area look out to sea
It is close to many food outlets including Fish & Chips
Reception could do with renovation, very dark.
Could do with having help with parking as very expensive, some Brighton hotels give vouchers for a discount.
