Beautiful place, very clean and tidy, with beautiful pool. Not a long walk from Nelly bay. Host was happy to facilitate an earlier check in which was great so we could drop our bags early.

We had a very memorable stay at this place, which we could truly call our home. The facilities, amenities, location and design of the house is beyond exceptional and a delight to enjoy.
This is one of the best places we have ever stayed in. Thoughtful supply of so many inclusions to make the stay comfortable. Colour coded towels, ample kitchen and laundry supplies, shopping bag etc. made our stay a luxury. Simone's responsiveness to the issues/concerns/our needs was very much appreciated.

Loved the location. Close to local shops. Our favourite eating place was Scallywags- excellent food and friendly, efficient staff and less than 10 minutes walk away. Close to the beach. Close to the ferry terminus. If you haven't got a car, the bus service is very convenient

Lots of wonderful places to eat and drink, a few boutique stores and Vinnies, for those forgotten items!! The beach was fantastic, with a snorkel trail to do and a walk to a beach bar serving fantastic food.

Nelly Bay is a little like the "CBD" of Magnetic Island.
Nelly Bay is a little like the "CBD" of Magnetic Island. Two big developments and several small apartment cluster. An excellent if expensive IGA and lots of restaurants etc. The amazing bus service joining all the main villages starts and stops at Ferry Terminal at Nelly Bay. Would have loved to have explored much more.

Nelly Bay was good as a base; walking distance to the ferry and serviced by 2 supermarkets. A good bus service on the island but overtaxed by the number of people.
other "villiages" did not have the supermarkets so you were purchasing takeaway or resturant food which was more expensive.
Yes; we could have gone on more walks, or snorkled or maybe taken a cruise; but overall it was a limited holiday.
It was a very quiet and safe location, the apartment was spacious. There was potable water in jugs in the fridge which was a very nice touch as the tap water on magnetic Island has a strong taste when not very cold. The location of the room was OK if you don't mind walking a bit or have a car. It's about a 30 min walk from the ferry and 15 min walk from nearest restaurants. The bus stop was right out front which was very convenient.
Liz has done a great job creating a very personal space to relax and enjoy the island. Plenty of effort has gone into making the space welcoming for guests. Many thoughtful small touches, generous breakfast options and tasteful furnishings help to make you feel instantly at home. Liz was easy to contact and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend this as an option when visiting Magnetic Island.
Fantastic place to stay on Magnetic Island as a solo traveller. Liz was an amazing host! She went above and beyond to make me feel welcome including picking me up/dropping me off to the ferry terminal and making my stay so easy. She provided lots of lovely groceries and extra treats! The location was perfect, nice and quiet with an amazing pool and sunbeds and a gorgeous view of the mountains!
Very practical cottages to spend few days on the island. It was clean and comfortable with A/C and all other fit outs. Good location opposite a bus stop and walking distance from the ferry. Close to a supermarket, a bottle shop, few coffee shops.. Quiet and peaceful.
Good communication with the owners, left alone to enjoy the holiday. Reasonable pricing.
Balcony was a good view but felt like part of the room. Was woken at 5.30 am by alarms and an evacuation message for over 10 minutes. Then dismissed as a false alarm. Then the fire brigade attended. Fully dressed and unable to sleep after that before a 5 1/2 hour drive so not good. Magnetic Island however is beautiful. Horshoe Bay is beautiful too.
Ian was very friendly and full of knowledge although a very busy man with it being school holidays. Seems he needed more help. The front deck area was a nice spot to sit for breakfast. Location was fantastic, walk to Alma bay, bus stop close by to get around the island. Nice beach across the road to walk and enjoy. Lovely walk into nelly bay also.
This was the perfect place to stay on Magnetic Island! The room was so clean, light and spacious. Really comfy bed and well stocked kitchen and bathroom - the owner even gave us some chocolate, wine and wallaby food!! We were able to check in early which was so helpful. Wished we booked for longer, it was perfect.
The rooms were very spacious, and had all we needed. The gardens and pool area were gorgeous. It was very quiet and close to the beach. Staff was fantastic and we enjoyed our relaxing Island stay a lot. We came in July and mainly explored the island on foot. A bus stop is conveniently close to the hotel.
The villa is so great. it has all the facilities and it is very comfortable. The kitchen, laundry, toilet has all the facilities, so easy to use. And the bed is so comfortable. The villa includes the common swimming pool and it is great located on the Magnetic Island. A really good place to stay.
The accommodation for perfect for our needs as a young family. It was very clean and had all the facilities we needed to have a relaxing and enjoyable beach holiday stay. The host was available to answer our questions promptly. We would highly recommend this lovely cottage to others.
Clean and tidy holiday chalet in a quiet complex. Very well equipped with everything you could need including pool towels. Loved the ceiling fans. Bus stop right out the front. Owner was very accommodating allowing us to check in early.
Next to a beautiful beach, looks like a resort.
