It was really clean and close to the beach and town center.

The spacious holiday home features 4 separate bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and oven, and a living room with a flat-screen TV. Towels and bed linen are available in the holiday home. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. Amazing location! Peaceful and serene. No one around. An older cottage, but with modern facilities (fantastic bathroom, newer washer/dryer machines, comfy beds --enough for at least 4 people, probably more--, cozy living room with wood stove). Close enough to the 1 restaurant and 1 cafe/shop in Arthur's pass (1-minute drive), but away from the road so there's no traffic or other people. Great hosts with great communication.
Clyde

We liked the option of being able to take our dog, we decided not to this time though. Was thoughtful to have some drinks, chocolates, milk and biscuits ready for our arrival as well as some fresh eggs in the fridge. Having the use of the free washing machine and drier was fab.
Whakatahuri

This is such a beautiful cottage on a farm complete with horses, alpaca, chickens, sheep and a very wonderful dog named Lexi! Loved having the bush and stream and pond! The cottage was well-equipped with everything needed! Excellent location to all activities in Rotorua and Taupo. Luck for us, we were able to extend our stay an extra night for a total of 4 nights. Did not want to leave this piece of heaven on earth! Tracey and Colin are wonderful hosts. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The sweetest little cottage to stay at!! I wish we had found this place sooner so we could have stayed longer. Amazing rooms, so cosy and well outfitted. The food was fantastic, we felt absolutely spoilt here!

We loved our stay at the Ghost Lodge. The location was amazing, and the lodge was cozy. We used the hot tub which was right on the beach with amazing views at sunset.
Super clean and cozy lodge with two bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. They have a shower, an indoor bathtub and even an outside private hot tub for stargazing at night. We tried the fire place which is quite straightforward and this gives a nice vibe of a cabin in the Forrest. They do have electric inverter so the fireplace is just a nice extra. Location wise , perfect! You can walk to the center of the town and only a Little over 1 km drive to the famous church of the good shepherd.
Very cozy and comfy accommodation with great hosts. Cooked breakfast was so delicious. Hot tub and sauna were fab. Lots of thoughtful touches that were appreciated.
I adored Altamont Lodge! the owners were professional and friendly, the room was so warm, clean and cosy. They had a laundry and a hot tub which I loved.
Charming vaulted ceiling cottage. Very clean. Cute garden. Next time, we will come with our dog to relax. Dogs are catered for, here. Lovely, fully cooked breakfast with coffe and delish juice was served in their countryside cafe and was included in the room price. Staff answer promptly the text queries. Thanks for making our stay so pleasant. The hoar frost coating the plants was perfect for indulging in a bit of creative photography, on a cold crisp but very sunny morning, of our departure.

A lovely cottage in Quiet countryside With farm animals and Views , very easy drive to Te Anau and Manapouri .
Loved our stay at Kahere. The cottage was well stocked for our two night stay. Warm and cosy and the bed was super comfy. The cottages are quite small, we had 3 in our party and I wouldn’t have wanted many more than that, but we were comfortable. Only way of improvement would be a hot tub on the deck, and a fire place, then I’d never leave, but even without those things, it was a magical experience.
