Situated on a 6-acre lifestyle property, Height of Dunedin Serviced Farm Stay offers a semi-serviced, 1-bedroom guesthouse. The sunny, detached cabin boasts farmlet views and is nestled below mature pine trees, with a well-appointed verandah and patio garden. It was amazing. I wasn’t in such a nice place for a years. Location was ideal, on the edge of the town, so absolutely quiet, but still close enough to the town center. Cottage was lovely, nice and clean. And the host was really thoughtful. She left a sign with greetings in our native language. Which was very heartwarming. Also she left for us bottle of milk and package of home eggs. Thank you so much, if we’ll stop by in Dunedin again definitely we’ll come here.

Excellently maintained facility. Feels brand new, yet also comfy and cozy like you're visiting family. The host was very kind and welcoming. We got to feed the sheep and alpaca in the morning which was a very memorable part of our trip! I would recommend this accommodation to anyone who's looking for a high quality place to stay, away from the crouds and have a unique New Zealand experience! Oh I almost forgot - bathroom had great water pressure and a towel rack that actually heated up quickly enough to warm the towel I need for my shower!

Well equipped and unique which added to its charm. You will want for nothing. Being able to pat the horses was an extra bonus that we did not expect. Location was perfect for us, just out of town but still close to everything. You cannot top the country side experience and hospitality. We feel very lucky to have found this gem.

So close to town but a lovely rural setting. Sunny outlook and warm inside. Lovely modern decor. Great shower and well stocked kitchen. Enjoyed the Bbq and the farm fresh eggs!
Excellent farm stay for mind and body relaxation. It was secluded, away from any city pollution. Excellent hosts (Breidi and Bred), with amazing staff (special shout-out to Chef Diego for his culinary skills). Great view of lake Minaoupri.
Quirky Farm stay not far from the main area. Was a lot cheaper than staying in the main town. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Was wonderful getting to feed all the different animals they have on their property. Room was away from the main house so nice and quiet. Toilet and shower was a short walk across an enclosed verandah and was for our private use. Freshly made bread and eggs were supplied for breakfast. Along with their own honey as well as jam and butter.
It looked great and unique. Felt like a great farm house.
I liked that we had the friendly hospitality of being on a farm, coupled with all the mod cons of a separate apartment attached to the farmhouse. Lovely flower filled garden and very spacious, light filled room and ensuite. Close to Mataura for dinner at the pub.
Large rustic quirky two storey home. Pizza oven in kitchen. Comfortable beds. Close to both Fairlie and Tekapo. Great views. Rural location. Plenty of outside space for children to ride bikes and run around.. Small stream close by. Large Nashi pear tree with ripe fruit.
A rural location on a working farmlet, albeit the property is quite close to SH60. Takaka is ten minutes away. Very comfortable accommodation with a large well equipped lounge. The barbecue and deck gave us a couple of enjoyable evenings. The hosts were excellent as too were the breakfasts which largely consisted of produce from their farmlet. If you enjoy outdoor spa baths and swims, there's a real bonus outside. Thank you to Rene and Marianne.

Super nice hosts made us feel at home. Comfy bed and everything you needed. We were hoping for some organic eggs or something from the farm for breakfast, but it was more continental. (To be fair, that was not stated in the description, we just assumed that from the name "Organic Farmstay"). But lovely hosts and very nice and we would recommend it to any travelers. The grounds and flowers were lovely!
This is a charming small farm cottage, spacious and comfortable for two, well equipped and stylishly furnished with a lovely rural outlook; heat pump keeps it cosy. Though near the owner's farmhouse, it feels private - nice to know owners were there if we needed anything.
