Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Pleasantly surprised. Hotel is not new but has a cosy vibe. Staff were excellent. We had a free drink at the bar, right next to the fireplace which was lovely. Bed was one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in. While not super modern, it was a really lovely stay. Buffet breakfast was a reasonable quality and selection for the price.
The beds were SO cozy! The rooms clean & spacious, modern. The service was outstanding from every worker we encountered, the view from hotel was breath taking and only a 5min drive into the town if even that. The pool, sauna and gym were amazing to have there, room service was mostly yummy & fast! and last but not least they accomodated to a late check out request the night before!

Breakfast is really good although I personally have found some breakfast options being too oily and heavy for early morning (eg . Turkish eggs- extremely oily )

My initial booking was for The Bungalow. When I arrive I found it dark, dank and had a bad smell. It was very old and small. The kitchenette is a portable hot plate and microwave.
I spoke to the desk and was moved to the Spike self contained units and they were so nice!
The have a tiny view of the Remarkables & Coronet peak and could see the night skiing (just). Spike was modern, comfortable and had a great kitchen. Bed was cozy and the deck was nice to sit and have a morning brew.
Kitchen was always nicely cleaned in the morning (from the night staff), and new kitchen towels provided daily. Big nice kitchen. Lounge was cozy with the open fireplace (wasn't on every night though it seemed). Room was good size, did not feel to cramped even though there were 8 beds (4 bunk beds).
Amazing place with the best view from the balcony. Comfortable bed, incredible hot tub, and cozy fireplace made our stay perfect. We also enjoyed the cinema option, which offered a selection of old movie, making our stay more interesting and unique. Thank you!
This did the job for 1 night and was definitely a cheaper option in Queenstown. The living room with fireplace was nice. Easy walk into town and found free parking on the street nearby.
The sauna and hot tub looked nice although I didn't get to use these as they always seemed very full, and only one of each for probably 50-60 guests.
Friendly informative staff and excellent service. Room was warm, cozy and comfortable. Facilities exceeded expectation, pool, hot tub, sauna, gym. Family friendly. Such a wonderful stay.
