Everything about Beech Hill was incredible. Gorgeous architecture and interior design with great attention paid to small touches. Idyllic setting with walks and gloworms from the door. Minutes from lots to do and close to Coastal taste trail. Owner, Nic, was incredibly kind and made us feel so welcome. Her ambassador, the pup Frankie, made my kids entire trip to New Zealand. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to one day return.

This beautiful, self-catering cottage is situated on a half acre garden, filled with roses, peonies, lavenders, fruit trees, a large vegetable garden and abundant bird life. The cottage has its own entrance and driveway, well separated from the main house, for privacy.

The cottage is comfortable (bed, chairs, window seat, deck furniture), convenient (full kitchen, washer, drying racks), modern, clean and quiet. Maria and Cameron are lovely people, ready to help with anything we might need. The garden is beautiful and so relaxing - it is clear that they are attentive to every detail. There is a small town just to the south (Mapua) with several good restaurants and a small grocery store. An added bonus for us: Finn the Border Collie! We cannot say enough good things about our 3 night stay here.
