What a wonderful find. The accommodation was just off the courtyard and was lovely. Spacious, super comfortable bed, clean and had tea & coffee making facilities along with a little fridge. We had an evening meal and breakfast there which were both superb. Staff were very friendly and the pub was charming with a real atmosphere. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to explore Laxfield but this just gives us an excuse to return!

Very spacious. Was apprehensive about it being a bit chilly and draughty but complete opposite. Very warm and cosy.

The host was incredibly accommodating, kind and quickly in contact when I was running late. I cannot fault this stay, everything was impeccable with a welcome package, milk, tea, coffee, everything! The home was cosy and comfortable and the location idyllic. I will be staying here again.

The hosts were very helpful and welcoming and the setting was totally charming. The extreme quirkiness of the cottage was highly entertaining and like nothing we'd experienced before. Definitely an experience to remember.

Breakfast and evening meal very good. Good choice of real ales on tap. Charming village with many cottage gardens, wild flower meadows and old buildings. Several ROW footpaths in village.
