The hotel had one of their staff drive me around the city. The driver wasn't familiar with the sites we visited. The hotel collected the fee but never called a tour operator. I thought I was going to get a licensed and knowledgeable guide from a tour company., but that wasn't the case. The hotel lied and provided substandard service.

It's easy to get around the city with public transport (buses, jeepneys, taxis). One thing that disappointed us was about the beaches in Mactan/Lapu-Lapu area. We saw online that there were nice blue water/white sand beaches and resorts but they have all been privatized! By hotels and resorts. You have to pay to use their beach fronts. The costs range from Php400-4,000! Some of these costs also include using the hotel's swimming pool or eating from their buffet. But still...we just wanted to spend one or two hours by the beach but didn't know we had to pay like this. We found two public beaches for free access (eg. Maribago) but they were dirty :(

I had a simple activities since time is short,went to sto.Nino church for a mass ,had my reflexology,look for la Fortuna bakery buy ube hopia,we ate in CARBON ,was amazed so clean foods are cheap,enjoyed the jamming .Late night back to bai hotel ,roof top ordered some drinks listens to music, we also went to TABOAN to buy MANY PACKED BULAD…enjoyed your swimming pool ,sunset so nice.i wrote this in no particular order,i had a great time in my stay in cebu ❤️😘

The main points of Cebu (historical attractions, malls, temples etc) could all be seen in just one well-planned day. I would recommend taking 2 nights here, arriving in the afternoon and going out then utilising the one full day and leaving for your next place early in the morning (to beat traffic!)
Staff is very nice and accomodating. Equipment for the kitchen is all you need. Hotel is big and many guests, but yet, the room are sound proof and you can stay in peace and quiet. Room is very clean, traveling through the city via taxi is very easy (and cheap). Bed is very comfortable (which can sometimes be very tricky traveling in the PH hotels).
Huge swimming pool too. Car park underground (request for a space first).
Citadines will be my regular place to stay in Cebu city.
My wife and I travelled for a get-away to rest and relax and we did in in comfort at the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu hotel. We liked everything from the hotel staff to the room and bed comfort, hotel services and spa massage. The buffet breakfast was superb as was the concierge with readily available taxi service. The hotel location in Cebu city made our shopping and church travel quick, easy and inexpensive. We definitely will stay here again.
The location of the hotel is strategic. It is the center of IT Park. We enjoyed the stay because food establishments are very near. The location is similar to Singapore or Macau. Its a very peaceful street/location you wouldnt believe that you are in Cebu City. Our view from the room was super nice. The room is very clean. The pool was super nice. The breakfast was superb. Thank you SEDA, we will definitely come back!
Breakfast and all meals served in the hotel are superb. Staff is very kind and helpful. Fitness Center exceeded our expectations. The Hotel is located at a busy road, next to a small complex with pharmacy and restaurants, ATM. There is a small sidewalk. It takes about half h to reach the airport and the harbor for day trips on the boat. The Hotel features a rooftop pool and a bar with a nice sunset and view of Cebu City.
We arrived of a late flight and when we got to to the hostel the gentleman on reception was very helpful and friendly . The room was beautiful and clean, very comfortable bed, good AC & WiFi and Netflix on the telly and a lovely hot shower which is rare in the Philippines. Breakfast included was great. Would highly recommend for a short stay in Cebu close to the airport & port so perfect for a stopover in Cebu city
We only stayed here for 1 night and we almost didn’t want to leave our room because it’s so cozy and comfy. We have a perfect view of the city and the location is so convenient. The staff is very accommodating and polite, we asked for a late checkout and if we can leave our bags at the hotel after and they were attending to our needs. If we will come back to Cebu City, we will definitely stay here again.
The room at One Central Hotel was a haven of comfort and tranquility. It was spacious and tastefully decorated, with modern furnishings that added a touch of elegance. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city. The amenities provided in the room were thoughtful and convenient, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable.
The room was definitely worth the price, had everything we needed. It's one of the taller hotels and it had a really nice view over Cebu city. (You can also take the elevator to the top-most floor, if your room happens to be on one of the lower floors.)
The hotel has also a swimming pool and a gym on 9th floor accessible to all guests.
Good Location. Two 7/11 supermarkets around the hotel. And the mall 100m away. House of Lechon is a 2 minutes walk. Which is perfect!

The host and all stuffs was very nice and made our stay very comfortable and welcoming. There are air conditioners in all bedrooms and the living room. You can see all of Cebu City and the building's priority safety(no outsider can come easily, and they have metal detectors).
Very cost friendly for comfort and central location to get all those errands needing to be done in Cebu City. Also we stayed there because of a vigil at St. Peters so very closeby for hiya. Breakfast was simple affordable and good. Shower was hot.
Location was good to the busy Cebu City and transportation. Staff was warm and courteous. Hotel apartment was huge, massive! Liked the top floor view from the roof. Liked that Netflix streaming was available.

Clean rooms and close to airport. 7/11 downstairs and a Jollibee three minutes walk from hotel. A Watson pharmacy and money exchanger as well 4 mins walk from hotel.
We got there little early so the stuff let us check in at 12noon..and also our room got upgraded for free..😍😍thank u waterfront cebu city we will come back again..
