This was a great lodge! The lodges were very comfy and had a private bathroom which was great. The pool was also very pretty and nice to chill after the hike.

It really is an Oasis. We arrived there and this place is beautiful in the middle of the Canyon. They have a nice pool you can jump in after a long hike. We could order lunch there (soup, chicken and rice, vegetarian options are also given). Also dinner was good, you can choose between pork, chicken or vegetarian. They have a good wifi connection. Also towels were provided. You can pay everything by creditcard, they do charge an extra 6% for that.

Very helpfull hostess, I also used laundry service leaving my clothes and other luggage while I was trekking colca. Came back next day to collect. Great location just on the main square where all the shops are, and all the buses leaving and arriving.

The staff is super friendly and helpful with organizing trips to the Canyon and transportation around. The transport is not cheap, but it's the only option you have in the region. The rooms were clean and bed was the best we had in Peru. The restaurant in the hotel is fantastic and the breakfast was wonderful. The lunch-package we purchased was the best sandwich we had in Peru.
In Covid times, it was hard to get to Cabanaconde.
In Covid times, it was hard to get to Cabanaconde. There is only one official bus (Andalucia) and it departs from Arequipa very early or too late. There are also collectivos people can take to get there (local buses). Once there, the village is great, people are so helpful and the hikes are amazing!
Please not there is no where to take money out, you absolutely need cash for everything.

The people are really nice.
The people are really nice. I lost my wallet, while paying the fees to get in the park. I went down to Sangelle for one night, and the man (Patricio) who found it, brought it to the tourist place. They called every hotel down to reach me and kept it safe until the next day.

Oasis Paraiso Ecolodge is very nice facillity situated close to the river on the bottom of the valley. You are accommodated in the simply wooden huts, but there is really warm, no need to have a sleeping bag. We were suprised we were given to the breakfast at 5 a.m., so you have plenty of time to ascent back to Cabanaconde (3 hours) to catch the bus at 9:30 back to Arequipa. There is also one pool with thermal water (ca 22C) to refresh.
The location of the hotel is magnificent, with a mountain view. We could check in early upon our arrival and got offered tea and coffee while we waited. Breakfast was good and plenty. We ate dinner there twice and this was also delicious and decently priced. The bed was comfortable and warm. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful.
We had only one night there, but it was a nice experience. Hotel looks pretty and room was comfortable enough. Even though it was cold, blankets saved us and we slept well. They also have a hot water. Breakfast was simple, but tasty. Additionally I would like to thank hotel manager, who was very helpful and interesting person.
Nice quiet hostel to spend the night before doing the colca canyon trek.
