This is an amazing location. Staff are great. It is very clean - I would describe it as rustic and simple in terms of facilities. But location trumps all else so if you want beauty and a peaceful location with stunning views this is the place to be. If you want 4 star I suggest you avoid Cabanaconde.

Friendly, helpful staff who gave us a warm welcome after a day of trekking in Colca Canyon. The room was basic but perfect for our needs and dinner and breakfast were both delicious. There's also a pool to cool off in after a hard day of trekking

Our stay here was absolutely incredible. Our room had the most magnificent view, everything was clean, the pool and the grounds were immaculately maintained. This place was the highlight of our trip. When you realize that each piece of furniture and material had to brought down the canyon manually one by one, you really appreciate all the amenities that you have. Just incredible.

Pretty ok. Breakfast was extremely basic (coffee, one fat pancake, Marmelade and butter). There seemed to be only one person to manage the whole property. Had to ask about towels, shower wasn't warm, let alone hot. However, it is in an oasis down the canyon which probably makes it difficult to have a full hotel experience. It's enough to stay a night and hike away.
Comfortable rooms with cosy rustic style-decor and mountain views are offered in Cabanaconde. An American breakfast is included and there is an on-site restaurant with a la carte dishes.

Staff extremely helpful and very welcoming. Property is bespoke in style, reflecting the local area - all of this is really well done. Located in Cabanaconde, it is ideally located to see the western (and most spectacular) end of the Colca Canyon.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Beautiful place to stay in a gorgeous location. Accomodation is basic as you'd expect in the remote location but we got a lovely private hut for a reasonable price. The hot springs under the stars are amazing.
It’s a nice location with few little pools very convenient after hiking. Few outdoor spaces to chill and relax. Dinner is worth it quality price and brekkie is enough before a hike
Amazing location. Many walks along canyon ridge starting right from hotel. Run primarily by a very hard-working and kind and thoughtful family. Food was farm-to-table. Views are so great you should spent at least two full days there to get full appreciation. Beautiful eco lodge and amazing hospitality by the family. Thank you so much for a great experience, and for organizing a 5am cab to Chivay for us :)
All around comfortable and welcoming place. The hosts and staff made us feel very welcome and shared information and tips about the hikes in the area, you even get a nice map of the recommended trails. They also assisted us with various requests (luggage storage, early check-in at no extra charge, laundry). The hostel has various spaces to sit and relax, and a restaurant that offers great food from a very clean kitchen. If you are hiking in Colca you should stay here!
Cute little lodge in the heart of the Canyon de Colca. The accommodation is tailored to hikers looking to go off the beaten path so rooms are very basic but comfortable, meals are simple but nutritious and the staff is cordial. The thermal pools (one hot, one at ambient temperature and one cold) add a nice touch for the traveller looking to relax after a day of hiking. Beautiful location with a gorgeous garden and views of the canyon.
Great location with (very clean) hot springs at the river to relax in after hiking the Colca Canyon. The lodge is run by a family and the staff is very helpful. The cabins are basic but sufficient. We would recommend to stay here if you're hiking the Colca Canyon!
