This is the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at. The room had a terrace that was no more than 20 feet from a little beach where we went swimming. The staff will turn on the sauna at your request. Takes a few minutes to heat. The staff were exceptionally accommodating. They gave us bikes which they prepared before we set off. We did the evening meal which was exceptional with smashing views of the sunset from the restaurant. We rushed the breakfast as we had to go for an activity at folgefonni which was a shame as it was delightful. Perfect stay all in all.

It was a really nice location, with a nice walk from the camping place perfect if you are travelling with a dog, and there was a lot of berries to be picked. We loved the living room space, perfect for a nap or a chat. Staff was very nice, and there was chill vibes in the place.

The house is beautiful, cosy, tastefully furnished, perfectly clean and fresh, and comes with all the amenities you could think of: fully equipped kitchen (including basic ingredients) where you can easily cook family-style dinners for 10 people, washing machine and dryer, underfloor heating in the bathroom, fireplace, outdoor grill and furniture, great lighting throughout the house, many seating areas, etc. Every little detail is so well thought out: from the comfortable bedding and high quality towels to the many books and the sound system around the house. You can really feel the love and attention in every corner.
Sarah is a truly excellent host; I have never met a host as responsive, well-organised, and gracious. From the welcoming message to the swift communication throughout our stay as well as the clear signage throughout the house, you never feel lost but genuinely well looked after. The hotel parking has a charger for the electric car, the grocery shop just across the street. The pool and sauna were absolutely great. Just keep in mind that it has unusual working hours (it doesn’t belong to hotel but it just next door), for the hotel guests they provide discount so it was only 79 NOK per person + 10 NOK to rent a towel if you need. Breakfast was various and good.
The hotel is nice itself, lovely view on the fjord, friendly staff, very nice breakfast. Our room had a direct exit to the outdoors, so we could park our car right next to the door and there was no need to carry luggage through the hotel.

This is a newly built and very fine hotel. Appreciate that you can cast directly to the TV. Free parking. Located right at the fjord. Very good breakfast.
