Odda is quite small and the place is not too far from city centre. There should be an additional information about rent of duvets and bed sheets for 10 euro or 100 nor coron (they do not accept cards so you have to take cash from atm). Ppl at the reception are nice. However the information about limits in water quite weird. In Norway everything is a bit more expensive but comping just Bergen to Odda, Odda you have to multiply prices for accommodation. Quality wasn't that high, room clean but showers are need to be improved. Also they need to inform ppl to close the door from kitchen as smell is going around the whole building. Enjoy your stay don't forget to take your tracking shoes before entering the building. :)

Nice position and good connections to the Trolltunga trail. A bit pricey for shuttles 230-250 NOK to P2. Plus extra 130 NOK from P2 to a higher point at P3. No that many options in terms of restaurants so think about preparing your food. The Thai restaurant is very good though with cheap prices and big portions.

We had a 3 bedroom apartment with shower room, kitchen and sitting room area. the apartment was clean and well equiped. The staff on arrival were very helpful and friendly. the linen and towels were included and of good quality. The rooms were above the recption and shower block so there was some noise transfer up to the apartment but thats not unexpected. We had 2 of our group doing the trolltonga hike, and 2 of our group wanted a more sedate walk being nearly 80 yrs old. the staff were able to give advice and clear instructions for them to enjoy a suitable walk. they couldnt have been more helpful, thank you.

Very small city but calm and relaxing, perfect choice if you are planning trolltunga hiking. Very good shuttle connection from Odd to trolltunga hiking start point so you dont have to worry about the transport.
You can walk in the city and sit lakeside.

The drive to Odda was very scenic! We were staying there to hike Trolltunga and it is not very far from Odda. We also visited the glacier which is nearby. You can view it from the glacier's parking lot if you do not want to hike it.

The best part was the small cottage how and where it was built. It was a small sweet romantic cottage.
Easy transportation shuttles if you want to go to Trolltunga.
Some small and good supermarkets nearby.
The location is good and the hotel building itself looks romantic imho. The room was clean. The breakfast was okay (besides the standard stuff, it even had some salmon and vegetables). The following has nothing to do with the hotel, but is a tip: since the hotel does not have a gym, on a rainy day, you can go to Fitness nr 1 located downtown. You can just walk in there and do your thing.
nice view over the fjord, my room windows have direct view. Location near to Main Bus station,10m walk. Bus stop "Freimsanden" for Trolltunga shuttle is just outside the hotel,across the road. My room with attached bath and cooking facilities. cups,plates, fork,spoon knife available, fridge, electric stove,water kettle.
Great value stay in Odda. The room was always full, but with people who were in town to do Trolltunga so I got to meet hiking buddies and not have to worry about sketchy people. Much more affordable than anywhere else in town, and as a solo traveller looking to save money I had no problems with this hostel
Lovely quaint, quirky and large flat(apartment) in the old refurbished hotel situated at the top of the town. Amazing views in three directions featuring lake, fjord, mountains, glacier and the charming town below. Sunny shared patio and garden to rest in after a day of hiking. Loved it.
The whole experience staying in this location . We had a full ground floor house to ourselves! Everything you needed was provided. Absolutely Spick and span ! Prime location next to the lake and short distances to all hiking routes around Odda and just mins away from Odda town .
Great location walking distance to anything you could need in the town and incredible views, and close to epic hikes! Amazing value for money especially relative to other prices in Norway. Very friendly and welcoming staff as well :)

very convenient to stay in the hotel if you are doing a Trolltunga hike with the tour guide as the orientation is in the hotel. great view from rooms of the fjords and breakfast was very good too.
The apartment inside was nice, well furnished. A coffee filter would've been very nice considering that was Easter and everything was closed. We expected more considering a touristic place.
