Stavros is a very touristic place in the summer and only has very nice beaches and a touristic center with he standard touristic shops. If you prefer that it is an excellent place to go to. If you do not like crowded touristic places and prefer authentic less crowded places therer are more authentic Greek villages at the coast in the direction of Alexandroupolis. But still Stavros is a nice place to visit for maybe two days ( if you prefer quietness) and then continue along the coast. Overall this part of Greece is very nice and Greek people are very friendly and helpful.

Small city but pretty nice.
Small city but pretty nice. Most of the terraces are in the centre, only few terraces on the beach - so if you want to eat local food (no fast foods) you should select a beach with own terrace.
There is a central pedestrian road where you can buy a lot of things but also you can go in a walk thru the streets and you'll find also local shops pretty nice.

If you are one of those people who do not mind what they eat and prefer to spend a quiet and unpretentious vacation, then Stavros will meet your expectations. In my opinion, there is only one restaurant where the food is at a good level.

Stavros has a nice location and the sea is nice, clean and warm. The parking spaces in the city were quite OK and we appreciated that they were free. The main road was a bit busy during the day, but the beach was not crowded and the facilities were good.
The restaurants in the city were very good and good value for money. We liked Kalamatianos, Piaza and Il Mondo.

A small town which has all the facilities for a nice holiday. Wonderful beaches, plenty of restaurants and choice of food, entertainment for youngest in amusement park, field to play football and basketball for other. The seaside cafes offer good service, sandy and clean beaches, nice music and wonderful sea to bath in. There are plenty of shops to buy different items, may it be souvenirs, clothes or anything you like. Highly recommend Stavros both for families and young people.

Wonderful and communicative place, excellent hygiene and cleaning of the rooms. Close to grocery stores, cafes, restaurants and bakeries. it is located 100 meters from the center of the town and 300 meters from the beach. Wonderful service and friendly hosts.
Marvelous breakfast! We were surprised by the variety, quality and care with which it was served.
The property is next to the beach. We were out of the season so I cannot say anything about the beach, the sea, etc, but for us it was good enough to be close and look at the sea.
The rooms were cleaned as we had all the necessary things like slippers, towels, sheets, etc.( After our stay in Fani's, we went to a 5-star hotel again in Greece and it was so bad in terms of housekeeping in comparison to Fani's)!
House is just next to the beach. Only one minute of walk and you are on the most beautiful beach in Stavros. Water is clear, beach bar is excellent... If you don't want to listen the neighbors from others apartments this is for you. You can do whatever you like because you are alone in the whole house and garden. Mediterranean house from dreams. Polina, the host, is the the best. She supplied us with domestic vegetables and honey. Really it was like in havens
We had a wonderful stay in this sweet hotel! The lady that welcomed us was the most polite and helpful, she recommended us great places to visit. The rooms were super clean and had everything we needed. The hotel is not more than 5 minutes walk to the beach, which is great! All of us are happy that we chose this place and we definitely recommend 10/10! 💖
We liked very much the sea view suite. Everything was clean and looked as new. There is AC in suite and also the upper room. Kitchinete has all advertised tools in good working condition. Maintenace and towel change is done at 2-3 days.
Beach is very close 100m in front. Town center is very animated and reachable in walking distance.

Very clean, very modern, exceptionally nice looking from outside and inside, stands out above any building in the neighborhood, right in the center of the village/town, close to all restaurants, bakeries,coffee and ice cream shops, close to beach (we did not go because of the weather)
Hotel Milies was clean, friendly and provided a good breakfast. It was next to a lovely beach and near the town for eating in the evenings. The hotel also has plenty of parking.The location was great for exploring this side of Halkidiki. Would highly recommend.
The place is close to the center and the beach, but quiet and peaceful. The hotel is clean, new, the kitchen is comfortable, there are air conditioners and wonderful terraces. The landlady is nice and pleasant.

Even at the end of the season, all was as expected: welcoming, fresh and clean. Nice room with balcony table and chairs, shades as well. On foot range from the beach, resort center and restaurants.
The place has very good location close to the central shopping street and the beach. Quit and peaceful place. The host are very kind and responsive. I recommend this place.
