A really nice experience staying at the "Kentrikon" hotel. It is literally right in the middle of Chalkida which is convenient since you do not have a car for a walkthrough into the city.

It's a decent city, just over an hour away from Athens. The seaside promenade has some good tavernas. Perhaps the best part of this town in its excellent Archaeological Museum, located near the bus station.

Chalkida is close enough to travel to nearby villages and still have time to come back and enjoy the area. There are many coffee shops and restaurants that are walking distance. Great place that is close to Athens, about an hour away.

When we first arrived the city did not look too welcoming, but as we saw the city by night and it's nightlife it already looked and felt a lot better.
It just took us 2 days to find the shopping street which was really nice and the prices where good.
Although the language skills of the local populations not the best, so either learn greek or have a lot of patience.

Great place for a short visit!
Great place for a short visit! The view is great from almost everywhere! It's got a castle up on the hill and a lot of great shops on the sea side. Simply walking around town and along the shores will reward you with interesting experiences.
The suite was modern and very comfortable. It had a living room containing 2 large leather arm chairs and a sofa, a separate bedroom, and a very large balcony with table and chairs. The bathroom was large and modern.
The hotel is very close to the harbour boardwalk, and surrounded by many cafes, pâtisseries, and restaurants.
An excellent place to stay near the sea ⛵ Well made apartment, a very helpful host:) Easy check in-check out process without a personal contact. Cafe-restaurants-super market and other facilities are in a very short distance. We will definitely book the same apartment again in our next escape outside of the city 🌆
I can’t say I have enjoyed the hotel as it was very basic and offers you a very standard low class hotel. I found it expensive for the value it offers. however, I have to admit it was clean and the receptionist was very kind to us

Excellent small studio in downtown Chalkida. Five minutes away from the promenade by the sea. Lots of options for breakfast and dinner nearby. The studio itself was meticulously cleaned and had everything we needed including a hair dryer and an iron. Hot water was available instantly.
A beautiful, recently renovated hotel, at a nice location; perfect for a weekend. Comfortable and clean rooms, rich breakfast, very friendly stuff. Late check out option charge-free is a plus. Would def recommend. Hope things won’t change,
while the hotel gets attention.
Almira Mare boasts a serene location by Agios Minas Bay. The well-maintained gardens of this beautiful hotel added to the charm. Pool was spacious and we had some tasty drinks with a sea view at the amazing poolside bar of the hotel.
The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel must have gone under renovation as it was modern and in good condition.
Mr Panagiotis from the night shift was very kind and professional and assisted us with our needs.
Room was bigger than my expectations and the kitchen was separated. It was nice for cooking. The people in hotel was nice and kind. The swimming pool is quite big and the location is near a beach. Value of money was good enough.
Top it's the word I can describe this hotel. Various restaurants are within 100m. Only 3km from Chalkida and 80km from Athens. Eleftherios Venizelos Airport is 100km away. Free parking on site.

Perfect location for a few days stay. Restaurants and bars are all around the hotel. Small city beach just 10 min. walk from a hotel. To choose a "Sea view room" with a balcony - worth it.
