Staff were really helpful and offered us safe storage of our bikes and hose for washing them down which we really appreciated. Also liked our room as gave us access to outside as we had muddy feet. Dinner options varied depending on what you chose, the fish and chips were great and very good value for money, however the scampi was really disappointing, a small portion and not cooked well in comparison, and was the same price on the menu.

Liam and Charlotte were absolutely brilliant and gracious hosts. Homemade strawberry ice-cream out of this world. Accomodation beautifully presented and spacious. Not just a room. More like a flatlet with a lovely dining room and romantic fireplace.

We liked that the property was spacious. The exclusive use bathroom was down a small private hall (closed off from the rest of the property with a lockable door) - so no problem with that. We also had the use of a microwave which was great, as well as a small fridge. No running water in the room although not a problem given the close proximity of the bathroom. Lovely lady settled us in and gave us lots of useful information. No local shops, nothing close by so very car dependent- which is explained in the information about the property. There is an army base nearby which added interest for us. We booked 2 nights and as we were so comfortable, extended to 3. We were easy reach of Salisbury to see all the sights there.

Great off the beaten path to go away from the overfill of local tourist spots, yet you can relax here away from other tourists in the evening. Locals who work and venture into the pub are more than friendly to talk with you to give you the local good info of where or how to explore the region. I give this village a two thumbs up and will return again.
