The Old Down Inn, hotel in Ston Easton

Located in Radstock, in a historic building, 23 km from Bath Spa Train Station, The Old Down Inn is a bed and breakfast with a garden and bar.

The centuries old building, although that must make it difficult to meet modern living expectations. Maxine and other staff were lovely and informative. Very enjoyable evening meal and a monster breakfast in the morning! Lots of interesting artefacts and snippets of information. Despite being close to a road junction we were not disturbed during the night by noise.

This was my third visit to ston easton park.

This was my third visit to ston easton park. On our arrival we wanted afternoon tea and a nice quiet spot was found for us despite them being busy. Our room overlooked the courtyard and was cosy yet grand. Lovely bathroom. Breakfast was really good and all the staff were great throughout our stay. A little more attention to detail from housekeeping in the room would be good. It was clean but one of the curtains needed a few curtain hooks and there were a couple of little cobwebs though this is the middle of the countryside.
