Location was brilliant and the staff were great. They upgraded our room as a larger room was available, and it was perfect. We stayed for a birthday and they left out some small touches (balloons and cars) which were appreciated! Would recommend to anyone staying in Bristol.

I lived in Bristol not far from Clifton for over 10 years, yet I never visited the shopping area of The Mall off Sion Hill. Fantastic set of shops, mostly independent. I even made a purchase! Coffee or fashion, home or personal care, a lovely mix of shops. Highly recommended.

As a pedestrian, you can cross one side of the bridge for free, it's worth it, the view is very nice. At the foot of the bridge, there is a museum that informs about the history of the bridge's construction.

If ever your in the area or passing through Bristol you have to go to Clifton to see the suspension bridge, it is awe inspiring im not really into bridges but my other half has been talking about this bridge for years, we finally got round to visiting Bristol, we did a mini city break on the way through to stay at burnham on sea for a week with the kids. When you walk up the hill towards the top where you first get a glimpse of the bridge it almost takes your breath away i cant get my head around how high up it is, its crazy to think this was built when they didnt have the massive machinery we do today. At the top of the hill there is a little gift shop that sells magnets and such, but the other attractions there is the cave that goes underground from the gift shop, if your brave enough to walk down in the dark, which my other half did, also if you climb some steep steps up to a room there is a really old mirror obscurer where you close the doors to darkness and in front of you appears almost like an old fashioned video of the clifton bridge where you can see all the cars and people travelling across it was like watching a very old black and white movie. Word of warning there is 1 toilet up there and its hidden,no signs which we found weird, we walked into a restaurant around the side and was told its closed to the public and we cant use the toilet but there is 1 around the other side so we went in search round and round the building we walked untill a lady asked if we were looking for the toilet as she had also been searching, also there was no toilet paper so take your own.

Reception staff were very welcoming. Our room was at the front of the hotel overlooking the park and we were expecting it to be noisy considering how close to central Clifton the hotel is. It was really peaceful with only the occasional car and we both slept very soundly.
very comfy bed, small room but everything I needed. great location, bus to city centre stops just outside of hotel. 10 min stroll to Clifton Village and just a bit further to Clifton Suspension bridge
The hotel was in an excellent location - right in the heart of Clifton village, a stone's throw from the Suspension Bridge and a short bus ride from the centre of the city. Communication with the hotel before my stay was excellent, and check-in was straightforward. The room was comfortable and had nearly everything that I required. Overall, I was very pleased with this choice, and will stay there again.
For anyone that doesn't know this hotel the location with a view over the Clifton Bridge is unbeatable. Hotel was very good value (cheaper than a Premier Inn and much more character). All the staff were really friendly and the room was spotless.
The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was spotless. The staff on the Thursday morning were incredibly helpful. The hotel is nicely located and conveniently situated to explore some of Clifton.
The location, within 10 minutes of Clifton and 10 minutes of Park Street is excellent.
Nice hotel bar for a drink after a long day out.
Wide bed.
Room was cleaned every day.
The apartment is furnished as shown in the photos. Clifton is a pleasant area.
