Wonderful quiet location with a beautiful view from the window. Tastefully decorated bedroom, comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Very good breakfast with lots to choose from, all very tasty and of good quality. Nice breakfast room with windows all around. Terrasse outside. Easy parking. Surrounded by nature.
Very friendly owners who seem to care a lot about their guests and their beautiful country inn which is throughout decorated tastefully and with love for old furniture.
A good base to visit nearby beaches and the Broads.
A good base to visit nearby beaches and the Broads. Winterton-on-Sea, is a short car journey and home to a large colony of grey seals. A large number some with pups on the beach when we visited! Seal Wardens on duty to protect the seals. Good attended car park with cafe and shelter.

This is a great place to eat and stay for a special occasion. It’s not cheap but it is value for money in my view when you consider the history of the building and the effort that had been taken to retain the features. Staff are very good , food beautiful Would definitely stay again .

Stalham is a quiet village with a handful of small shops and a large supermarket. There are 3 pubs, the best being the Swan Inn, the food was wonderful and an excellent cafe “Cafe Charlotte”. On the edge of the broads close to numerous boat yards with boats available to hire by the week, day or hour.

A very nice place to stay, the Norfolk broads are beautiful, the narrow country lanes, lots of country pubs with good food, boats to hire if you want to take to the water and so much nature and what I loved most was the dark night sky’s so clear, a stargazers dream 💫
This is a delightful property that delivers exactly what it promises - a quiet and restful retreat.
The property is fully kitted out with everything we wanted for our stay.
It is an easy drive to Hickling Broad and the seals on the beach at Horsey Gap. Food shopping can be obtained in Stalham where Cawdrons butchers is well worth a trip. There is a Tesco as well.
The hosts were really accommodating and welcoming which made for a perfect break.
We hope to return.
Very well appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Spotlessly clean and attention to detail superb. The property has it own parking space, a secure back garden, and the log burner in the evenings was a really great feature.
Location for The Broads and North Norfolk coast is perfect, and the little town of Stalham has everything you need for provisions.
Gary the host is very responsive and nothing too much trouble.
Would definitely stay again.
Very good covid 19 cleanliness and regulations. New 'Garden Rooms' very spacious and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and dinners - we dined both evenings. Staff very friendly and helpful and showed great kindness not only to us but to others while we were there. Very well situated for visiting North Norfolk. We have stayed here before and will certainly be returning.
Had dinner in restaurant both nights. Very tasty food and my wife was 'spoilt' by staff on evening of her birthday with birthday candle and chocolates! Very kind and very friendly staff. We have stayed here before and will definitely be staying again. It is a well placed location for visiting North Norfolk. The new garden rooms are very comfortable and spacious.
Had a lovely stay, friendly staff, great room, lovely warm feeling to hotel, beautifully decorated with lots of space and lounges. Good breakfast included, menu with great filter coffee & fruit juices on tap and good cooked breakfast/other options. Great location not far from beach & Wroxham, hope to go back soon. Very good value,
The chalet we had was clean and warm. Beds comfortable and there were biscuits and sachets of coffee left for us.
Really enjoyed our short stay here. Close to Sea Palling, Waxham, Walcott etc
I recommend the Rainbow Café a short walk into Stalham for breakfast
The hotel has been fully renovated and our bedroom was in an annexe. Good tea and coffee making equipment. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The evening meal was delicious and both breakfasts were copious and well cooked.
Hosts met us on arrival and were very welcoming. Conveniently located for Stalham town, the broads and the coast. The extras; bread, milk, tea, coffee and eggs etc were a welcome surprise.
Lovely quiet retreat with access to all kinds of activities in Norfolk. The cottage is wonderful and we loved our stay. Well equipped. Retro clique. Utterly charming.
Breakfast more than adequate, location of property within Stalham perfect. Owner of B&B very obliging, room, spot on, clean and spacious.
Adequate off road parking.
Very friendly and welcoming staff.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Food was great.
3 minute drive to stalham high street.
5 minutes to the broads.
