The Lifeboat Inn, hotel in Sedgeford

The Lifeboat Inn is just a 2-minute walk away from marshes and sand dunes along the Norfolk Coast Path.

We had a double aspect room with a spectacular sea view. It was beautifully decorated in a New England style. The bathroom had coincidentally, one of my favourite range of toiletries, Jasmine, from the White Company Floral collection. The staff were all very welcoming and polite and the food was excellent. The cosy seating areas around the log fire were perfect for curling up with a book after a long days walk along the boardwalk. A perfectly relaxing break, we're definitely going back.

A small village, nothing really there except houses and the pub. Nevertheless quiet and a good base from which to visit the north coast of Norfolk. There are beaches and plenty of open countryside close by.

The main road is not the place to linger but down the side roads and particularly the very pretty church, it is a pleasant place to toddle around. I deliberately went there to be near the North coast and so the village itself was not the target, to be fair. And, I was only there one night and one morning so that's not a lot on which to base the review.

Lovely toiletries in the spacious bathroom very nice. Perfectly cooked breakfast we sat with views of the garden. Very relaxing stay. We have booked to come back for our anniversary. Found bathroom very hot but just a minor detail.
