Breakfast was excellent both buffet and cooked. Being close to the coastal path made it easy to get out and see the Norfolk scenery. Public transport links were very good.
Briarfields has a tranquil setting and views of Titchwell RSPB salt marshes, home to both freshwater and saltwater wildlife. It has a bar, restaurant and free parking.

The professional but friendly staff, the quality of the hotel and room fittings (the bed was sooo comfy), the atmosphere, the location. Infact pretty much everything. Fabulous meals too!

The pub is in Burnham Overy Staithe, on the salt marshes near the harbour, lovely for walking and relaxing. The Hero pub is so cosy, with fire in the winter, outside tables with harbour views in dry weather. Lovely blankets provided. Everything is very geared to the visitor and their doggy friends. Burnham Market town is 3 miles away lots of lovely individual shops.

Not a large central village area but some nice shops cafes and it is a very picturesque English countryside location. Everything is within easy walking distance. Some shops are on the expensive side. We ate mostly at our Hotel The Hoste which was very nice. The other resturants look good too. Lovely place to visit, quintessentially British.

Very pretty village with some interesting shops - definitely the place to go if you need a hat! But a bit short on places to eat early in the week, it's pretty much closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

A picturesque village with some independent shops and cafes.
A picturesque village with some independent shops and cafes. We have often stopped here while in North Norfolk, for an ice cream, coffee or food as well as a stroll around the pretty Green. It’s an ideal base for the area but it does have a ‘cache’ which can mean it’s expensive to stay here

Lovely place to visit/stay.
Lovely place to visit/stay. Has some interesting shops and restaurants but would advise booking restaurants beforehand as we couldn’t get booked for any of the ones we wanted. Been coming to this part of Norfolk since 1990 and Burnham Market probably our favourite place. It’s a lot busier now than it used to be and a lot pricier; but well worth it!
A fantastic hotel with great facilities that would be perfect for a group of friends or a romantic break. The hot tub is a great treat, the decor is stunning and the rooms are incredible. We went for our 10 year anniversary and the staff were amazing, they also helped a friend organise a bottle of chilled wine for us so it was ready when we arrived
Great hotel with a lovely basement cinema, room was clean and quiet and the bed was really comfortable.
restaurant food was good pub grub and staff were exceptional.
The breakfast was excellent, the hotel was beautifully furnished, the gardens were very tranquil and full of lavender, it was like staying with friends……
New ownership at The Nelson, great hosts who are turning this place round, excellent communication. Super location and a good price for Burnham Market.
