The staff went above and beyond to cater for the 2 Vegans in our party. They produced an excellent 3 course menu for the at Dinner and had plant based food for their breakfasts. Not a lot in the centre of Kilburn ie shops, but some great walks. We walked through the forest, up the hill to the white horse. Short drive to Helmsley, a beautiful town. Walked around Helmsley Castle, very interesting and quite a bit intact. Then walked to Rievaulx Abbey along the Cleveland Way. Great for the dog. No styles, no sheep - but loads of pheasants!!
Forresters Arms in Kilburn superb to stay and eat.
