The Pelican room is a hidden gem, we chanced upon it by accident when we had to reorganise our plans to visit family because we had to take our 2 dogs which are allowed at the Pelican Room. It’s located in the countryside but within a short driving distance to Norwich city centre and the Norfolk coast. The property itself can only be described as amazing, the hosts have thought of every little detail so much so that it wouldn’t go amiss in the best of home magazines. The deco was beautiful, the kitchen was fully stocked with all the essential equipment. The bathroom was stunning and the bed was so comfortable. I can’t think of enough words to describe this property, it’s just amazing. The host was so friendly and welcoming and left us with fresh bread, butter, ham and milk with a good stock of filter coffee tea and sugar. We will definitely book again when we visit our family xx

Loved the location and ambience of hotel. Check in was very efficient and a lovely room - superb breakfast. I admired after I found out looking for the marmalade in pumps - so saves plastic and waste. Especially liked the fresh fruit Strawberries /Melons and Avocado and Salmon and cheese selection and hot food lovely mushrooms, bacon and sausages.
The George Hotel is located 12 minutes walk from Norwich City centre, where guests can visit all the city's main attractions such as the Castle, Cathedral and Chapelfield shopping centre.

The breakfast was outstanding. Classical music in background, heavy white linen on tables, a lot of effort gone into presentation. Very polite and professional breakfast waiter. Beautiful, top quality produce cooked to perfection!

The quality and facilities of this accommodation are fantastic. Lots of attention to detail with personal touches. A luxury, cosy cottage set within secure, private grounds next to the owners house in the village of Horsham St. Faith. The local pub and restaurant, The Black Swan is a twelve minute walk away and serves lovely food throughout the day. Norwich is only a few miles away and can be accessed via car, taxi or local bus services.

They hotel emailed me the night before my stay to say I wasn’t able to stay.
They said it wasn’t their problem and that I wasn’t getting a refund as it wasn’t that much and I shouldn’t be so desperate for money.
I asked countless times for a refund and the owner was rude, unhelpful and always refused my request.
