The room was lovely, the staff were welcoming and the breakfast was plentiful. The location was also beautiful and they had made an extra effort to put a table decoration out for my birthday which was much appreciated.

Great location, clean room, quiet (once the extractor fan had gone off outside window)

I know Frome as I lived here in the 80s. Lovely quaint market town, but it has become more busy and parking is difficult generally. Two theatres... great! And lots of entertainment in Cheese and Grain. Very hilly place, ok if you’re fit to walk everywhere, if not there are buses.

Lots going on and plenty of places to wander around. Interesting independent shops and eating places (but book ahead at the weekend fof evening dining). Good as a base for exploring West Wiltshire and Somerset.

The George hotel, fronting on to a busy main road, was noisy; it was only single-glazed. From what we could tell, Frome offers no other hotels - shame.
There were some nice eating places in the town; we visited a fine Italian restaurant on three evenings, no less.
We also happened on an excellent coffee/chocolate shop, appropriately called Choc. The staff were excellent, as was the produce.
Frome benefits from a railway station, with frequent services to Bath and beyond, also to Weymouth. Alas, for us it involved a mile-long walk from the centre of the town.

Absolutely beautiful and quirky.
Absolutely beautiful and quirky. Loads of independent shops and eateries. Wonderful independent cinema and fabulous old-fashioned bakery with gorgeous cakes.
The Lamb and Fountain is the most incredible old-fashioned pub in a backstreet. Like stepping back in time. Delicious and very cheap farmhouse cider on draft and cheese and onion rolls for sale. Has a lovely courtyard garden down an alleyway out the back.

We stayed at the George in Nunney which is the most beautiful little village. Outdoor seating at the pub both in their gardens and over the road where you can sit by the river with a perfect view of the castle.
Their is an ancient monument and a lovely church, a picture perfect little village.
The castle is free to walk around in to go inside.
We ate in the George and the food was excellent both for dinner and breakfast. The staff are police, efficient and helpful.
I couldn't recommend both the pub and the village more.
Although we only needed a double, we were given a spacious family room (with en suite). All good. Comfy bed and tea making facilities. Breakfast was superb. Staff were friendly and courteous. Location is good for the Cheese & Grain (8~10 mins walk). At the time of booking, this was the second cheapest (on Booking.com) and proved to be good value for money, especially being so close to the venue were we visiting. They have their own bar which was very pleasant to enjoy a few beers in. Will return I am sure.
The hotel is central in Frome. The staff were friendly especially the breakfast waitress. The room was small but ok for 1 night, it was spotless and comfy bed. The breakfast was lovely, lots to choose from. My husband enjoyed his veggie full English. Parking on site but a very tight squeeze if you’ve got a big car. Excellent value for money, would stay again.
This hotel has been updated to a good standard, its very warm and welcoming .
The location is ideal for access to Frome town centre .Room was clean and comfortable.
Lovely breakfast and evening meal.
The pub area was busy in the evening, as our stay was on Friday, but really good atmosphere.
Overall good value.
not ideal for someone to stay as it sits on top of a pub/ restaurant , the breakfast was served very cheaply with a small container of juice kept on the table , we asked we do r want breakfast so if we can get a refund and they said we will call you back but never heard back which was expected !!
Very clean room, well organised establishment and plenty of space to walk in the grounds. Very handy location for Longleat Safari Park and Stourhead along with the town of Frome. Having an independant cafe on the site was a bonus. If I was staying in this area again I would certainly stay here.
Beds and shower were excellent. Location was brilliant - easy walk into the centre of Frome and convenient for my daughter and family staying in a rented cottage. Parking easy. Frome is also convenient for lots of other places nearby. Awesome food at the bistro - but you do need to book.
The hotel is situated very close to the cheese & grain. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly & helpful. Evening meal & full English breakfast was very nice. Great to have a locked car park to know your car is secure & parking is free.
Jasmine cottage is set in a beautiful location. James is an excellent host and cooks an amazing breakfast. It was a very nice and restful stay. James is great to talk with and really helpful with offering advice on things to do in the area.
Location perfect for exploring Frome.
Host very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Incredibly comfortable in her company.
We thoroughly enjoyed out stay and would not look anywhere else for accommodation if returning to Frome.
Lovely family cottage in the centre of Frome.
Fully equipped with a fantastic kitchen dinner, my grandson made good use of all the toys.
Shame we were only staying for one night would of been nice to stay longer.
Host was immensely hospitable, considerate and welcoming in sharing his home and knowledge of the local area The cottage and grounds were lovely and close to Frome and other sites of interest to visitors.
The building had a very nice old feel to it. We enjoyed this as it gave our stay much more character than what you get with a Premier Inn or similarly large Hotel chain. Very classy interior also
It's in the most perfect location to immerse yourself in the charm of Frome. Glorious to walk out the door and with the outdoor space off the master a quiet refuge
