The centuries old building, although that must make it difficult to meet modern living expectations. Maxine and other staff were lovely and informative. Very enjoyable evening meal and a monster breakfast in the morning! Lots of interesting artefacts and snippets of information. Despite being close to a road junction we were not disturbed during the night by noise.

The location is superb for exploring the local area.

The location is superb for exploring the local area. The hosts are really welcoming and are always on hand to help and answer questions. Considering the current pandemic the hosts really do go that extra mile to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. In the evening the location is really quiet for a relaxing evening so come the morning you are refreshed to start a new adventure.
