Large spacious room, great selection of breakfast!! Wouldn’t fault it one bit except it was really warm in the room and we couldn’t control the radiators. But all in all lovely service and a great little stay! Would highly recommend.

Really nice pub. Lovely staff. Amazing location. Walk behind the pub and through the fields along the coast - the most beautiful hike we have done in a long time.

We enjoyed an excellent stay at Westwood House! Nothing was too much! Our room was lovely, the breakfasts delicious and Carl and Jocelyn were delightful! We had no idea of the wonderful sights, walks and history that are part of Dorchester! We highly recommend Westwood House for your stay there!

We did not get a chance to see the village but it was easy access to both Weymouth and Dorchester which are two really lovely places. We stayed in Broadmayne overnight as halfway to our holiday in Cornwall. It turned out to be excellent choice exactly half way.

Louisa, our host was very welcoming, providing us with a lot of anecdotal recommendations about where to go and what to see. Oh, and a very nice breakfast!
The B & B at Broadmayne is well sited for site seeing in the local area. Village pub, the Black Dog, has a good restaurant, and the New Inn just outside the village is even better.
The hosts were so lovely and kind, they picked us up a few miles away as we were stranded with a flat tyre! They also made us feel really at home during our two night stay. The home is stunning, spacious, spotless, we loved our room and en suite and didn't want to leave! The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The BNB is a couple of minutes walk from a lovely pub that served very tasty food and a 10 min drive from Lulworth Cove. Thank you, we will be recommending Barton Cottage to all our friends visiting Dorset.
We could eat there - the food was very tasty and very well cooked from fresh. The breakfast was cooked to perfection. The bed was large and very comfy indeed. The staff were, without fail, friendly, helpful and cheerful. It was ideally situated for our purpose which was walking / rambling in the Dorset countryside - the area is crisscrossed with footpaths.
I've honestly never stayed in a B&B anywhere near this good! Louisa and Tom are the perfect hosts, welcoming and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble during our stay and the breakfast was sensational. The room was high quality in every aspect, especially comfort. Would not hesitate to go back when we next visit Dorset.
Definitely a very friendly B&B/pub. A generous breakfast included. Rooms may be on a dated side, but clean. Shower very spacious and so was the bed.
Didn't eat or have a drink at the pub as only stayed one night (bank holiday) while exploring Dorset.
Everything was great. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was a good size, it was clean and comfortable and the food was really good. Great base if you want to explore the Dorset coast.
