Such a unique property and location but perfect for a little family get a away. We were visiting family locally and rather than all being stuck in one hotel room with no facilities we found this and it was
Perfect! The kitchen was amazingly stocked with everything you could need! Which with a baby was such a relief! Little touches like washing up liquid and sponges and liquid hand soap just added that extra ease on not having to pack that as well as everything else needed for a baby when travelling. it was immaculate condition both the decor and general cleanliness. Honestly couldn’t rate this enough and definitely coming back with the family in the summer months :)

Location was perfect, arrived by train and walked everywhere. Quex Park has a rural feel. The accommodation is very well designed with modern kitchen and bathroom and everything you need in a neat compact space. The bed in the mezzanine was extremely comfortable. Adjacent was the Barn with shop, café and restaurant, providing groceries and tasty meals. Staff went out of their way to assist which was much appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

The owner was a great help, we were travelling for outside work and the date we booked was not looking good weather wise, we asked him if we could change our date and he was very accommodating.

I was visiting family and friends but there is plenty to do if it is purely a holiday. Public transport is good to all areas. Broadstairs is nearby and has many eating places, Minnie Bay in Birchington has seafront restaurant and bar. There is shopping at Westwood Cross, numerous takeaway options with delivery, best fish and chips at Fishbone Grill just as you come into Birchington. There are many beaches around the coast but do check which ones have doggie restrictions from May . RAF museum is worth a visit as is the spitfire museum. Eating places there too.

Such a beautiful place, plenty to do, loads of beautiful beaches, places of interest to see. We went everywhere by bus, we brought a day rider ticket for £4.50 and that allowed us to travel all day. We had a fabulous time.

I know Birchington very well, as my sister lives there and I visit her regularly. Lots of shops and eating places, and an ideal location for visiting Canterbury, Margate, Ramsgate and Westwood Cross which is a lovely shopping centre
Neil and Marilyn are great hosts and make you feel very welcome. The breakfast was wonderful and very well presented. The location was perfect for us as just 2 stops on the train to Margate to go to restaurant and/or bars. Or a 10 minute walk to the high street of Birchington, as well as the esplanade along the front.
The views from the rooms are fantastic, just a shame for us that the big room was already booked with the panoramic view. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again.
20th Century B&B is a labour of love for the owners who have renovated this modernist Art Deco house and created a unique place to stay with stylish themed rooms. The host Kat was very friendly and helpful and provided a very good full breakfast which I had on the balcony of my room. Perfect place to stay if travelling on your own and you don't want to stay in a bland chain hotel. Parking is free on street outside the property.
Fantastic quiet location, 3 mins walk from Minnis Bay seafront and just 10-15 mins walk to Birchington town centre. Lovely clean bedroom and ensuite, v comfortable bed. Didn't see landlord/lady but v friendly and attentive cleaning staff. V reasonably priced too, especially considering I was there in peak season. Cannot recommend highly enough A+++
Cosy room in a quiet corner of Birchington within easy reach of Westgate, Margate, Broadstairs via train station less than 10 minutes walk away. Tim was helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is good and includes cereals, bread, ham, cheese, fruit, croissants. The room has its own sink and access to Netflix and other streaming services.
A unique experience in small flat in a lovely private garden with brilliant hot tube. We particularly liked the well stocked fridge. The owners could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Perfectly placed for Birchington and Westgate. We would highly recommend and will be back as soon as possible.
Great location near Minnis Bay, near to the train station (20 min walk from Birchington-on-sea)and frequent buses to Margate.
Lovely breakfast included in the price and tea and coffee available in the room
Plenty of towels in the room and the beds were very comfortable
Dog friendly 🐶
Brilliant, clean, well equipped, roomy. I don't think the pictures on bookings.com does it justice. Stones throw from Birchington beach however better beaches to be found a short drive away in Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs. Would highly recommend.
Clean and comfortable with lots of nice little touches such as milk and cereal on arrival, plus tea and coffee. Margate and Birchington only minutes away by car.
