Lovely room with king size bed which was very comfortable.

Lovely room with king size bed which was very comfortable. Great location for what we wanted. Restaurant food was very good. Very small things that took it from very good to good were batteries in remote not working and new ones took approx 30 minutes To arrive. Hairdryer filter very dirty and honestly hairdryers could do with an upgrade!

Lovely quiet location with fantastic views over countryside. Very convenient location for Beamish Museum (5/10mins drive). Nice sized room, large double bed and bathroom with good sized shower. Parking right out side of room was handy. Choice of eateries with hotel restaurant or pub just over the road. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly.

Lovely hotel we could get a snack and drink when we arrived.

Lovely hotel we could get a snack and drink when we arrived. Evening meals in the restaurant were first class good selection. Breakfast was great and the lovely staff were local so full of knowledge. The only fly in the ointment was one night when they had two large parties and it was left to us to move and find a quieter place to eat.
