From the moment we arrived we were made to feel comfortable.. a gentleman (think the owner) directed us to josh who checked us in .. he was fantastic showed us to our room .. we had drinks and an absolutely fantastic Sunday carvery .. ... the room was great number 6 at the top ... complimentary water and milk in the fridge .. amazing comfy bed . all in all a fantastic experience... Beautiful surroundings
The entrance is spectacular. Greeted by pleasant friendly staff. Deco was homely and inviting. Open fires. Big bright comfy furniture. Areas of sofas and coffee tables to just lounge and have a drink. Truly wonderful
Location for wedding at Bawtry Hall is ideal. Restaurant prices a bit steep but plenty of options on the High Street. Staff very friendly. Breakfast options good and always well stocked. Car park is pay on arrival but is easy to do & reasonably priced. Not too sure about the memory foam mattresses on the beds as they seem to take the form of the person before!!

Noisy room above the bar where the staff were playing music after it was closed. Asked them to turn it down twice which they did but didn't turn it off until 1.30 am. Also noise from the carpark for sainsbury's outside and the road so not much sleep. But they did let us check in early and the room was quite nice just a bit too warm.

The small market town is lovely and is all lit up at night.
The small market town is lovely and is all lit up at night. Plenty of wine bars with nice places to eat, we went into 4 different places and they were all furnished and decorated to a high stantard, the menus were good. There are lots of independent shops on the high street and 2 pretty arcades with the same. The people are friendly

Small and interesting town with historical interest. We stayed in the Crown Hotel - an old venue which has been modernised. The bar was open late which was good as we returned from a party and fancied a night cap.
Parking in the town overnight is expensive,

The hotel is nice and modern with comfortable rooms. The food was really nice although it is a bit overpriced. The cheapest thing on the menu is £15 for either a salad or a ciabatta.
The rooms are lovely just a shame about the mattress as they are memory foam and far too soft and not comfortable when you move around. Doesn’t support the back.
Nice, comfortable clean and quiet room. Perfect little garden area to relax in at the end of the day. Kerry and Richard were perfect hosts. Breakfast and room supplies were continuously replenished. The location is ideal for Yorkshire Wildlife Park, and Doncaster / Sheffield Airport and Bawtry with its good selection of restaurants, yet still seems like a peaceful retreat. This will be the first choice for a return visit to the area.
We stayed here after a family wedding at Bawtry hall. the property is a 2 min walk from the hall, perfectly located in the centre of Bawtry. The apartment was immaculate, finished to an exceptionally high standard with everything needed for a perfect stay. The host, Paul, was extremely accommodating with all my questions and altering of arrival times to suit myself. a fantastic stay and we will return! Thank you!
Perfect location to visit beautiful Bawtry. Property was tucked away off the main road so was nice and quiet. Nice size and bed were very comfortable. Could have asked for any more. David met us with keys and was an excellent host, he couldn’t do of enough for us. I left my speaker and he went to the house to get it and sent it back to me in the post without any asking. 5 star.

This apartment is perfectly located for shopping, food, drinks, or the races. There is also a supermarket just at the top of the street for supplies.
It's modern, very clean, and impressive for the price. Previously we stayed at a well known hotel just around the corner and this is better in every way.
location was good / the room was ok / break was too much money because there was no choice on the menu you could not order anything different for example a cheese omelet / also like most uk hotel no complementary water like asian hotels / to buy water from the crown it would cost you 8 pounds for 2 bottles
