We were given a room which was for disabled people and it was ideal for me as I was recovering from a badly broken ankle and couldn't use an ordinary shower. We didn't ask for this particular room but it was perfect. The meals were very good with plenty of choice and reasonably priced and the inclusive breakfast had plenty of options. The staff in all areas were pleasant and helpful with smiles all round. The rooms were well cleaned every day with fresh towels in the bathroom..

I was in Bawtry to help look after grandchildren over the time of a house move. the staff were amazing with the children - even giving them fruit to take to school.

This places is a hidden gem a listed building nothing is modern which i like so what if the paint is pealing of the wall of there is chips on the does it has so much more character and charm and the front desk manager was delightful he gave us a tour of the place and also a background on the history of the hotel
