Perfect overnight stay conveniently located a few miles from the A10 south of Tours but in the middle of peaceful countryside. The accommodation is a beautiful, bright airy room in a large farmhouse. Host MaryAnn was incredibly friendly and welcoming and provided a light breakfast in the morning. Incredible value for the price and just right for someone looking for something with a bit more of a personal touch than an anonymous hotel.

Villa Alecya is a gorgeous property that was restored and furnished with the utmost care and taste, each room is uniquely beautiful. The rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable, welcoming and with all modern touches, while respecting the overall aesthetic. You need transport to get there and use it properly it will suit those people who like the country and the air and lifestyle it provides> In summer i imagine that the outside seating area is a wonderful asset and the barbeque in constant use

This is really a unique stay.
This is really a unique stay. An authentic chateau lovingly restored. Underfloor heating but still with exposed stone walls, etc so can be a bit chilly. The downstairs breakfast room/living room is warm and cosy. We had the chance to row on the moat - time didn't allow - but we will definitely make more time next visit. There are no evening meals, but lots of restaurants within reach - we chose Sache and the Auberge du XII Siecle - truly fabulous meal for 28€ Amazing value and wonderful cooking - the icing on our stay!
