This was perfect for a one-night stay on the way down to the snow from England. The car space is right outside the front door and behind a security gate, so it is easy to unload any bags from the car. The apartment is very clean and spacious. We arrived late so the code for the gate to get in and the keys in a lock box with a buzzer for the gate for the car made it easy,

We loved this little, garden chalet. The host was responsive and polite, it was easy to find and check in. There was plenty of free on street parking and it’s only short walk to the picturesque town centre and river. There was a small, private courtyard area which was totally enclosed, great if your traveling with a dog.
A two ring hob meant we were able to make a simple meal which was perfect as there were no takeaways open within walking distance. The shower was super hot and the whole place was spotlessly clean. A fold out sofa bed was comfortable enough for one night and we slept very well.
If you’re looking for simplicity and value this is the place!

The location in the centre of Troyes was good. The initial receptionist was very proficient and helpful. The breakfast buffet was varied and good quality.
The hotel located near many factory outlets, the A5 and A26 motorways and 6 km from the city center is an ideal starting point for visiting the city and the neighboring vineyards.

In addition to being given a wonderful welcome by the host and being made so comfortable - Saint-Julien-les-Villas is a residential area of Troyes a few minutes drive from the centre (or a 30 minute stroll) and, so it is a good place to stay if you want peace and quiet. Troyes itself is fascinating and historic. We didn't have enough time to visit all the museums this time and definitely hope to return.
