Very spacious room, huge bed, really nicely presented, and we had a balcony. There was a bidet in the bathroom which is also a nice bonus. More importantly, there was a free EV charger at the hotel parking which was excellent. It needs to be added to the hotel description! The swimming pool and the sauna were also lovely to relax in.

The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and all at a reasonable price too.
The room was clean and very quiet. Unfortunately, we did not have breakfast because we had to leave early to be on time for our ferry, but the smell of the croissants baking made us regret such an early start

Staff were very welcoming, room was quiet, clean and comfortable - the property provided all that was needed including a safe and secure exterior carpark.
Breakfast was busy but plentiful - they could use a second coffee machine in the breakfast area as there was quite a queue. Otherwise everything was exactly as expected and needed - OK, the hotel is in the middle of a commercial area.....but no unpleasant surprise. ALso, its very well located for visiting the chateau Veaux Le Vicomte.

The chateau is beautiful, rooms clean and very spacious, and they serve a good breakfast. The chateau has a very nice garden and is situation at the Seine.There also is a private parking. I would recommend this chambre d'hotes for a stay, if you like to be in the area of Fontainebleau for a few days. The hosts are very friendly and give good tips for sight-seeing. Getting around to Characters was easy.
Getting around to Characters was easy. We went around to Fontainebleau to visit the Castel and to enjoy the restaurants there. It also has good boutiques there at good price.
Going to Paris on the train was very easy from there. The host are kind enough to drive you and pick you up from the train station or you can drive 5 minutes to the train station yourself.
it’s was quirky and relaxing. no tv, bar. view of the Seine was a bonus. Pierre and Eric where friendly and helpful and made us very welcome.
the hotel has been a family home for 5 generations. yes it is antiquated but beautiful and loving looked after. thoroughly recommend a stay and close to Fontainebleau
yummy breakfast, good and enough. Place is exceptional, nice view & location, calm, front of our room is a lake view, back is a forest garden. Staff are friendly, we have a welcome drink and for 4 beers, we paid 10Euro. Well, book this Hotel for an amazing experience. Alma
It really gave us the experience of living inside a chateau with high quality of services. This was the best hotel for 20-day vacation in France. I just regretted that we only had one day there.
