The Domitys system is unusual in that its main function appears to be providing long-term residence to senior citizens on a hotel basis, with leisure and health facilities on site. We booked it simply as an overnight stop on our way south from CDG airport. Having landed and picked up our car I didn't fancy driving round Paris in the evening traffic so Melun was a convenient place for a break.
The staff were excellent. There were plenty of hotels within easy walking distance and parking was readily available. We ate breakfast in our room; substantial and delivered to our door. The room has a kitchenette so bring you own teabags and milk.

We've been to Melun so as to visit two castles : Vaux-le-Vicomte (a must see a few km away from Melun) and Fontainebleau.
Two excellent visits, we didn't enjoy any time in Melun properly speaking.

Claude and Marie were very and responsive hosts. We enjoyed two rooms to use, each with their own bathroom. The rooms were clean and quiet. The location was central in Melun. Parking is available in front of their house.
View was pretty nice. Hotel was located with the back facing a forest. See reasonable green views from the room, and we didn't really run into or encounter any of the other guests.
It’s a very clean, nice appartement for a family! Great location in Melun with view on the Seine river. The reception lovely and very cordial. I’ll greatly recommend
Simply, it is a shame an insult to Hotel industry in France. I have about 10 pictures to prove. No one with normal mental condition would like this dirty place.
