The location could not have been better. The host was wonderful, easy to talk to, friendly.
The hotel was basic and totally adequate and clean.

A short walk to the other end of the village is a lake with a beach and lots of outdoor facilities.
Terrific breakfast. Big room. Hostess very accommodating, tied into local music scene and showed us to a concert that evening. We had just booked into Bois-le-Roi to be close to Fontainebleau and were pleasantly surprised by the entertainment and came out in the morning to a small but fun market set up in the square. Didn't even hear them setting up!
