This is a very good country hotel in the centre of the Harz mountains. It has a very nice wooden decor. The bedrooms are clean, comfortable and very spacious with views over the countryside. The dining room is also spacious and light. We had dinner as well as breakfast at the hotel. The three-course dinner was very tasty, the breakfast was excellent (the best choice of fruit in our entire 12 day tour of Germany and the Netherlands). The staff are courteous and helpful. We wished we could have stayed longer than just one night!
