We were greeted by an overzealous friendly receptionist. - within no time you could be friends with her if you wanted to. ;) she made sure we were settled in well. the hotel is very classic and serves it's purpose. The breakfast was also fine.

Absolutely beautiful and tranquil countryside. Beautiful towns like Lingen, Osnabruck , Oldenburg and Groningen are within an hour driving distance. Locals are so friendly and helpful. Very positive atmosphere all around. An absolutely ideal place for a peaceful family get away. We really enjoyed the stay.
The house (hotel) is in the centre of the small town (village) Rhede, but near the main roads. The hotel is quite big, has a lot of rooms and a big restaurant, however, people in the restaurant do not disturb other guests in the hotel. A room with a small kitchen is good to spend a night for 3 people. The room is very tidy and comfortable.
The ambience of the hotel and restaurant were beautiful .it's what I dreamed Germany could be like. I have to visit in winter with snow and lights it would be magical.
