This hotel is quietly situated in scenic Emsland countryside, 2 km from Lingen town centre. Hotel Zum Märchenwald offers free Wi-Fi and a beautiful conservatory restaurant with beer garden. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The evening meals were absolutely superb with scrumptiously fried potatoes, which I had to have every evening!! The staff were very obliging and cheerful, especially the lady in charge of the breakfast and the waitress. It was great to have a room for my family and myself to have breakfast and evening meals. My grandchildren really enjoyed the bowling, possibly more than the food!! The location of the hotel was ideal, secluded but not too far away from the town centre. It was marvellous to have Re We nearby so that I could buy a lot of food to take home. Our rooms were indeed very comfortable and great to relax in. The decor throughout the hotel and the colour scheme were well planned. I must thank you for making our stay ever so welcome and memorable.

The cook is absolutely fantastic! The staff is Berry welcoming and sitting in the sun in between a fantastic environment is superb. They organised a play park for the kids for the weekend! Our son loved the play room and the swimming pool.
